CHRONICLE'S PROFILE

Hey there!

In july of 2017 I began using software to make music and it rapidly developped into a passion. Today I'm looking to see if I could find opportunities to compose for video games, something I have not yet done.

RPGmaker games can be absolutely breathtaking and some are among my all time favorites: Yume Nikki and The Amber Throne. Even if my first goal is to gain experience, I want to do my best and make soundtracks as memorable as I can.

That's it. See you around!

RMN Composer Introductions

Hey there!

I am Chronicle of Tales, or Chronicle for short. I began composing in july 2017 with a music making software and various virtual instruments, and I cannot seem to stop.

Here is one of the pieces I made, a two parts boss battle theme:

My influences are lots of retro game OSTs and japanese composers, such as Chrono Trigger's OST and Hiroki Kikuta but with some Metal and Jazz sprinkled here and there, I think? I'm not entirely sure.

I have no musical training at all, I don't play any instrument yet, and program everything into my software by ear. Sample libraries for piano and strings are the ones I use most, but I have access to other instruments too. I am especially fond of synthesizers. I like to use lots of retro synth patches and very often create my own for each new piece I make.

Yes I still have tons of progress to make and I can see some flaws in the piece I just posted, but I'm very passionate and determined to outdo myself time and time again.

If you're making a game, looking for a composer and all of that sounds good to you, then you can email me at:

Cheers!

I love your fan art image of the Granblue Fantasy characters. The work you put into it really paid off.

Hello there!

Hi!

My name is Chronicle of Tales (or just Chronicle) and I make music. I try to make one piece of music per week and upload it on my Youtube channel. My influences are very japanese and retro games oriented, although sometimes it's close to dark synth with a hint of metal. Here is one of the pieces I made:

You don't need to know about Made in Abyss to enjoy the music by the way.

Eventually I would like to try and compose for games, therefore I would like to see if there are people here who look for musicians. I'm interested in any type of game, be it traditional JRPG or horror/experimental (e.g: IB/Yume Nikki style).

Most of all, I'd like to get some experience and just try to make some great stuff.

Thank you for reading and see you around!
