You can usually play a game just as download it, extract it into a folder, launch a .exe file in the folder, for the most of the RPG maker games. (sometimes need corresponding RTPs though)

If you would just feel lazy to do or are having some troubles with it, then simply watching let's-play-videos on YouTube is always the easiest way to enjoy them!
