Wow I just learned basic sentences yesterday I don't think I can even keep up.
I'll just go back to my Katakana cards and watch you guys. Might learn something too.
One question, I find it really difficult to remember Kanji, is their an easy method to this or do I have to learn a bit of Chinese maybe. Its like always thrown in with hiragana and and katakana sometimes, is it possible to leave it out or is it a must to learn it?
Also when do I use godan verbs and Ichidan verbs or is each verb specifically ichidan or godan.

I hate when things get over explained..
Yeah its alot better if games have fun ways of reminding you what your supposed to do when you want to be reminded. As much as I really don't mind reading or voice overs its always annoying when dialog sounds forced as mentioned earlier when you have the same character replicated in like everything or when you have a skip option the leads to you clicking a fast dialoge option ( I'm looking at you Ice Wind Dale! )
The reason for NPC's and most Character Dialoge ( apart from obviously creating character ) is to guide the player through their journey in kind of an indirect way like an NPC can mention a hint somehwere in their conversation about apples, something like this wont have you like "yeah whats the point if shinigamis eat apples" or "I get it already go to the farm yard" but more like "oh so the farmyard is where I'm supposed to go if I want enough demon points, I need to get some apples to trade with Ryuku."
For example the NPC can say something about how he's never had a good apple pie since a demon came to the farmyard, it could be humorous but it has a point implying shinigamis like eating apples and a previous conversation with Ryuku could have implied he needs something or he will turn into a pretzel and you wanted demon points to get that slick katana ( Ryuku being the only one to trade you demon points yup the eyes things getting old fast ).
Yeah Deathnotes still etched in my brain but hope you get what I'm trying to put across. Could someone make a Death-note fan game if I keep bitchin like this?

I hate when things get over explained..
I see how reading alot can get irritating since most people just watch t.v listen to radio and play action games the only reading they do is at the grocery store or maybe the channel schedule's ( whats gonna be on t.v ).
When playing modern games almost all of them have voice overs e.t.c plus some people associate reading with studying ( the "readings for nerds" stereotype ).
I don't really mind reading, actually in some cases it lets you identify more with the characters like when reading a book you can visualize the characters, how they sound like e.t.c rather than having it spoiled for you.
It's kinda sad though, reminds me of that movie "idiocracy" but most comercial games these days are all about kick-ass graphics and some cleavage.
Its not really a bad thing to have sexy characters, break neck action and real to life H-D graphics but somewhere in their no one wants to go back and read ( at least most people ).
And yes this makes you have to tell them 4 times where to go

I'm just learning Japanese maybe one day Ill practice with you, so far I only know hiragana ( katakana not so much kanji like 1% ) and basic grammar.
Might take a while before I can create a fluent sentence. I want to study their sometime plus its better watching anime without having to read subtitles somehow I feel like the translation is not exactly the same as what they truly mean.
So apart from that have alot of hostile fun!

Is their anything a bit more mature not in the sexual way like Death Note, I thought it was really intelligent not just Beat-down Beat-down Emotional-Scene Beat-Down... the classic senario of Dragon Ballz and Bleach although they are great to watch just for some good action and epicness but not really if you want something to think about that leaves you like Dude!

I agree Near wasn't near L's cool genius and I admit although light eventually became an over powered asshole I kinda wanted him to kill Near but I guess it had to end or suffer from being too long.

I was like damn it why didnt X-Kira right on a random page and execute everyone! Maybe I'm also an insane dictator on the inside.
So anything out there thats hot shit and not too kiddish or beat-down?
