Umm, hi...
Hello! Don't worry about how you introduce yourself, just be yourself doing it. Different engines can have varying degrees of difficulty, not to mention that a lot of times, the makers of said engines make it harder than it has to be.
I second this question.
Anyways, the best advice I can give you is this; Persistence is very important to have in this whole gamedev thing, even if its nothing more than the work of a hobbyist. Also, constructive criticism is your friend; don't overlook it or push it aside without second thought.
tl;dr: Don't give up!

What program were you using for your VN?

Your RMVX/ACE/XP? game interacting with RMN
I'm not opposed to such a system myself, but I feel that a few restrictions would make it harder to muck the system up.
1) A separate score/achievement section for the game related stuff. I'm aware that most of you would look upon this rather unfavorably, but do we really need to reward something that ISN'T making with makerscore? (and now that i think about it, test playing is still part of the making process, so please don't say that disproves my point).
2) Heavy moderation: Regardless of how arbitrary it would be, we should at least have some standards for the sake of the people who do make use of this. Such a system can get ridiculous real quickly, so I think it'd only be fair that any reward be evaluated and weighed properly so the system doesn't look like an utter joke.
With all that said, feel free to angrily lunge at me regarding this.

Why your name?
Where does the name Emirpoen come from some of you may wonder? I've heard many mention emir and poen being arabic words, but they actually have nothing to do with my name.
Some people from waaaay back in the day would know the real meaning, but for those of you that don't; emirpoen is backwards for neoprime or rather NEO Prime, my former username.
There's your story time for the day...

It's Mewtwo's birthday. He is older than some of our users.

yeah, i think it's hilarious because it's true. he's a fraud and he knows it(you know it too), i wouldn't even say anything if i didn't have some grounds for it. i guess i should pat him on the back like you do.
keep circle jerking, bro. i am awful for exploiting a dirtbag. i think i am going to go cry. how will i ever sleep at night. your words cut so deep, i ... -gulp-
You're toast, done for, end of story. Would you kindly cease derailing this topic? Thanks.
Anyways, as far as this game is concerned, While the visuals LOOK nice, I'm concerned about the gameplay. if it does wind up becoming a simple point and click MMO, I'll have to sit this one out.
Commercial Games allowed now; also RMNv4.4 stuff
All I have to say is I hope this commercial game function works out in the long run and no one abuses it.
Barkley 2 Kickstarter
To be honest, I'm quite glad to see that another Barkley game is being made, and from what I saw in the KS video, I must say I like what I see at this point.
Issue with the Game Submission rules.
I've been meaning to get my 2 cents in on this and I may as well do it before it'd be considered necroposting (if I'm not guilty of that already). I won't lie, going into the realm of commercial games at all for RMN is touchy stuff, and I don't envy Kentona for having to weigh it out. While I'm not totally opposed to allowing commercial games to have profiles or to get some exposure here for that matter. I will say that if I were in charge, I'd be highly reluctant to implement such things.
In all honesty, if this were to go through, there would be need for certain requirements for a member to be allowed (in my opinion anyways). The main thing is to ensure that anyone using RMN's services would have to have a reasonable amount of credibility (account in good standing, reasonable amount of activity on the site, ect). I say this because there is a rather disingenuous group (whom I can,t name here since the last thing they deserve is an open name drop, pm me if you want details and whatnot) that used to be on this site for the sole purpose of pushing their game and deployed sock accounts for various nefarious purposes.
Sailerius did bring up a point that I thought was good. Anything that get's a little too successful and could potentially drown out everything else around it probably doesn't need any support from RMN and should be able to sustain itself.

[Poll] Why aren't you making a puzzle for BQ: TNG?
Growing up on games like brainlord (which if you guys haven't played it yet, shame on you), I'm not so sure you'd want something from me. XD
