Eternal Twilight Demo v0.4.2D Uploaded!
@Firefly:
- Fixed Damien's attack in the tutorial.
- Fixed the event not starting up in Muyan Port (I tested something and forgot to put it back to normal...) *Sigh*
- I will see what I can do about Wyvern Strike.
- The lightning and earth (and I believe one more element) attacks with Nature's Wrath are intentional. It's supposed to be random, so some of the attacks it unleashes are supposed to be single and/or multi-target.
As for "rarity" you are correct in that color order.

Demo Length - The demo ends at the very end of the Desert Oasis!

Game Changes:
- The whole equipment/loot system has been completely re-hauled! Enemies will now randomly drop equipment (both weapons and armor) that will roll random rarities and stats! For those of you familiar with the Diablo series on PC, when loot drops, it's able to roll "random affixes" that will effect the parameters of the item dropped. Your may get a "Cotton Robe +X" where "X" stands for the amount of bonus stats that item rolled!
- Players will now be able to craft Weapons and Armor as well, and the stuff the player makes also follows the previously mentioned system, where it can roll different rarities and bonus stats.
- Runes have been removed from the game, but Glyphs will remain. Due to such drastic changes in the numbers of the game, some fine tuning will need to be done, but this is hopefully where you come in! Let me know if the game feels too easy or too hard with the new loot system in place!
- Pre-Loader reinstated. This will pre-load some of the game assets to help reduce in-game lag. If this causes you to experience any sort of weird side-effects, please let me know and I will try my best to address the problem!
Character Changes
Trish
- Nature's Fury has been changed from adding to the duration of Fire/Poison Chi, to refreshing the duration of the states on the target and then spreading it to the enemy party. This will allow Trish to spread her damage over time abilities to all enemies at once!

Graphical Changes
- A few key characters in the game have had graphical updates. In an attempt to shy away from using as many default resources as possible (at least in terms of faces/character sheets), I went ahead and made new graphics for the following: Magistrate Devi, Imperial Captain (1st boss in the very beginning of the game), and the Runic Spirit within the Runecrafting Shrine.
Character Changes
Trish
- Mother Gaia has been replaced by Nature's Wrath. This ability is a 4-6 turn buff on Trish that will randomly deal damage to enemies at the end of the turn. The random damage can be either single target or multi-target, and will provide a nice stream of bonus damage while active. This ability will cost TP and is also Instant!
Damien
- Purify now costs TP instead of MP and has a 1-turn higher cooldown. This was to counter the fact that a player could just spam it on bosses/enemies that inflict status ailments without much thought.
Luna
- Pilfer Vitality damage has been reduced by about 30%, but the healing it does has been doubled.
Current and Potential Bugs
- The In-Game Manual is in dire need of an update, so pay no need to much of the outdated information in it regarding Augmenting items.
- Because the new loot system hasn't been tested by anybody but myself, there may be a few unintended "bugs", such as incorrect Icons for certain items or whatever...if you run into something that doesn't seem right, PLEASE let me know!

@Firefly84 You are correct my friend! :D This one is a much improved version of the weapon system I used in Demon Hunter though, at least when it comes to number tuning (I hope hahah).

- All characters have been given special "passive" traits that will always be active.
- Players had previously reported the game being a bit too easy, even on normal mode, so enemy damage has been slightly increased across the board.

- PASSIVE: Luna passively deals 20% more damage with her Critical Hits.
Damien
- PASSIVE: Damien's heals will trigger a "buff" that heals for an additional 15% of the base heal over 3 turns.
Trish
- PASSIVE: When Trish deals damage, she restores a small amount of MP based on the damage she causes.
Ryudo
- PASSIVE: Ryudo's damage increases the lower his HP gets.
Minerva
- PASSIVE: Minerva's damage increases the lower her MP gets.

New/Major Changes:
- "Limit Breaks" have been renamed to "Soul Triggers". This was done to not have players associate Eternal Twilight with the Final Fantasy series, which uses "Limit Breaks". (Thank you DM-Jo for this suggestion!)
- This is a "behind the scenes" change, but whenever the party wins a battle, each party member will slightly restore a bit of their missing HP and MP. This will allow players to "grind" more without needing to return to an INN if they wish to do so.
- The Runecrafting Spirit now gives the player a "Junk Siphon", which will allow the player to siphon rune essence from all sorts of items: armor, weapons, and junk that enemies drop when slain. This was previously given to the player later on in the game, but was changed to allow the player to craft more runes early on. (Thank you Firefly84 for this suggestion!)
- On-screen enemy encounters now chase the player instead of running around randomly.

- The Defense stat now goes up as characters level. It was previously a stat that only went up via equipment/augments.
Luna
- Luna now passively deals 20% more damage with her Critical Hits.
- Pilfer Vitality now deals about 15% more damage, also increasing the HP and MP it drains.
Damien
- Radiance now heals for about 15% less HP per turn, but will now heal MP as well as HP.
- Purify now has a one turn cooldown.
Trish
- Aqua Chi now restores more MP to Trish and the party.
Ryudo
- Draining Assault no longer restores MP, but deals more damage and restores more HP.
- Rampage now deals 20% more damage when it is a critical hit.
- Bloody Assault now adds a passive HP leech to all party members for a few turns when used
Minerva
- Omnipower removed and changed to Blood Pact. This new ability now converts Minvera's MP costs into HP costs, and increases her damage done by 15% while active.
- Vampirism now also drains MP from targets, instead of just HP.
Other changes:
- Graphics for some characters, animations, enemies, and maps have been updated.
- The Manual's tutorial selection screen has been updated. *NOTE:* Some of the pictures in the manual are a bit out of date and will be updated at a later date.
Bug Fixes - A thousand thank yous to my testers for catching these bugs!
- Minerva's "Charge/Overcharge" states were not properly boosting her damage, and has now been fixed.
- Wyvern's Call now properly increases Critical hit Damage when active (was previously not doing so).
- If the party wipes out in Muyan Tunnels, they will no longer spawn in Muyan Port with the map darkened like it is in dungeons.
- I've fixed a lot of the grammatical errors in the games that my testers have found.
