1+ year of silence and the future of Epheria

YOU LIVE!!! Excited to see this game hasn't died off yet. Keep it up mister!

Eternal Twilight v1.1.0 is LIVE!

You can use your old save file. The first time the "Auto-Save" feature kicks in will have a bit of a lag to it, since it's cleaning up your save file, but after that, it should be 100% good to go! :)

Eternal Twilight

@buggfragged:
You are correct. To her, they were merely a tool she wanted to use for her own gains. The ones that were "weak" weren't worth keeping around, so she had them killed. The strong ones she wanted captured.

This worked for Azael as well since he hoped that perhaps her army would kill the black magic supreme for him, saving him the trouble. Eventually, her usefulness came to an end, which is why he had her captured and eventually turned into a monster to be killed by the party.

Eternal Twilight

@matski - Bloody Abomination's mechanic is meant to be like Minerva's, where you need to be it as fast as possible before the HP reduction dot gets too much to handle. But either way, great job on completing the game. As for the ending, you are correct. :)

Eternal Twilight

@matski - I found out what caused the bug. It was a typo I made when updating the "Death and Decay" debuff that the abomination places on you at the beginning of the battle. I have fixed it and will be uploading v1.0.9a momentarily. So sorry about the inconvenience it caused! D:

Eternal Twilight

@matski - I didn't touch that boss at all...how strange. Do you mind sending me your SAVE folder so that I could poke around a bit? Was this happening from the very beginning of the fight? Does it happen on ALL fights now, including trash battles?

Eternal Twilight

@matski - I am about 99% certain that it was my use of "FORCED ACTIONS" to do the enemy revivals that caused those crashes. In fact, both the Empress and the double blood mage fight used the exact same forced action. I have gone ahead and removed the forced action spell and just handled the revival mechanic differently, that doesn't require the use of forced action.

That *SHOULD* fix the issue. I'm going to address a few other small bugs before I push this update though. Thank you so much for the report! :)

Eternal Twilight

@matski - boooooo, I thought I fixed those damn bugs! :/

I just have a few questions for you to help me try to figure out why or how this happened.

#1: Did you wipe to either of these bosses and then retried the boss?

#2: Do you happen to remember when the boss crashed that you said was st 40k? Was it the bloody Amalgamation boss or what's her face that got turned into a monster?

Eternal Twilight

@matsaki - Thanks for the feedback and bug reports!

The Amalgamation's HP going down to 1 is definitely a bug I'm still trying to smash. He is SUPPOSED to be immune to all damage over time damage (he can still get the debuff itself though), but there seems to be one or two that still deal damage to him somehow. This is what I believe is reducing his HP to "0" causing his HP bar to disappear. He doesn't outright die though because he has an "immortal" state that gets removed in the last phase of the fight.

The bombs in Dios and Mios are part of one of their "hp threshold" attacks. When Dios reaches 70% and 30% he will put the bomb debuff on the whole party. The purpose there is to try to dispel the bombs one by one so that you can heal up in between the damage they deal.

I could definitely do something like that for the guards in Piatro City, I've slowly been reducing HP of enemy mobs and slightly increasing their HP throughout the game to make them faster to kill, but also making them a tiny bit more dangerous.

Eternal Twilight

@Bugfragged - I'm glad you think so! ^_^

Don't be nerve wrecked! I had to limit the number of saves to avoid CRAAAAAAAAZY long save/load times...which is already a problem, sadly enough. :/

The loot system in the game artificially "bloats" save file sizes because every single piece of gear that drops is saved in the game file's database. Sadly, it's
one of the downfalls of the plugins I had to use to create the loot system.
