Major Boss: Commander Tyrus
Biography:
Commander Tyrus is one of the Empire's most fearsome fighters. He became a commander at the age of 16, when he showed to the Empress that he would stop at absolutely nothing to accomplish what he set his mind to, even if it meant killing his own parents. He is a ruthless commander, feared by many of his subordinates, and those who have seen him on the battlefield, know exactly why the Empress rose him through the ranks faster than any other person within the Empire.
Abilities:
PASSIVE ABILITY #1: "Double Tap" - Commander Tyrus will be able to attack 2 times per turn.
PASSIVE ABILITY #1: "Triple Tap" - Upon reaching 40% HP, Commander Tyrus will enrage, increasing all his stats by 15% and allowing him to attack up to 3 times per turn.
Commander's Strike -- Lashes out randomly at 3 targets, dealing massive damage that drains HP from those hit.
Sweeping Strike -- Deals large damage to all enemy targets.
Multi-Strike -- Deals multiple hits to one target. This ability has a high critical hit chance.
Commander's Bulwark -- Creates a damage absorption shield on the commander and his minions.
Break the Body! -- Deals large damage to one target and reduces all their stats by 30%, increases the damage they take by 30%, and reduces the damage they deal by an additional 30%.

I really love the dark ambiance of all the mapping. This is going on my play list for sure. Great job on completing it! :D

@Firefly84: Good point. I went ahead and updated the skill description to reflect that is also does damage to enemies. I've gone ahead and did this to other abilities, such as Dampen Magic, Shatter Armor, and Crippling Shot.

@Linkis Like Firefly84 advised, it's probably not a good idea to transfer an old save file over to the most recent demo. I changed around quite a few things in the database and some plugins, so it would most likely lead to a few crashes/glitches if you used an old save. :(
BUT...if you still wanted to try it, open up the old demo folder, look under the "www" folder and just copy/paste the whole "Save" folder into the "www" folder of the newest demo.

Downloading and playing this version will require a brand new game due to changes to the database and some plugins!
The demo still ends in the same place as before. This was mostly a graphical and balance update demo.

- Radiance now heals for about 15% less HP per turn, but will now heal MP as well as HP.
- Purify now has a one turn cooldown.
- Aqua Chi now restores more MP to Trish and the party.
- Wyvern Strike now strikes 4 times instead of once, but hits random targets. The overall damage of this ability has gone up by about 10%.
- Luna now deals a passive 20% bonus damage on her critical hits.
- Rampage now deals 20% more damage when it is a critical hit.
- Bloody Assault (Limit Break) now adds a passive HP leech to all party members for a few turns when used
- Charges (and overcharge) now last 1 extra turn, allowing Minerva to use non-charge type abilities without losing her stacks as quickly.
Other Changes
- Many animations for skills and abilities have been updated or revamped.

@Sinine I'm more worried about the fact that you were able to keep playing the game up until the Commander Tyrus fight hahaha...the demo was supposed to end after beating Runic Heart! :o I believe you downloaded a version where I was still working on the post-Commander Tyrus events, but not quite finished with them yet, ooops!
@Mirage88 Thank you! I was trying to avoid that AT ALL COSTS! There's nothing more dry to me than an onslaught of abilities that do nothing but damage *YAWN*.

The game has gotten a fair number of downloads over the last few weeks. Does anybody have any feedback that they'd be willing to share? ^_^

Major Demo changes:
- The game now features 3 levels of difficulty: Easy, Normal, and Hard!
- Easy mode reduces enemy stats by 20%, increases EXP gain by 15%, but reduces AP gain by 15% (The party will level quicker, and the AP handicap serves as a way to not completely overpower the party too early on in the game).
- Normal mode is the default difficulty option and there are no bonuses or handicaps in this mode.
- Hard mode increases enemy stats by 25%, reduces EXP gain by 15%, but increases AP gain by 15% (The party will level slower, but will gain more AP per level to help compensate).
Other changes:
- Enraged Troops - There is now a chance to run into random enemy troops that are enraged. These enemies will have boosted stats, but when defeated, will reward double the amount of gold and bonus EXP!
- Diagonal Movement now implemented!
- Combat Fast-Forward updated: Base combat speed is now 1.2x the default speed, but if you press down the confirm button, combat speed goes up to 1.5x the default speed!
- The majority of the skill/ability/state icons have been remastered by yours truly...well, to be honest, they're more like Franken-icons, but whatevs!
Okay...so, I may or may not have lied when I said in the last demo release that I would work on new content instead of fiddling with little side-mechanics or whatever. But, from here on out, I will work on developing the next major story/plot portions of the game! :D
As always, you SHOULD be able to use old saves (demo v0.3 and up), but do so at your own risk...you might run into bugs or game crashes. *shrug*

I promised myself that from here on out, I would focus on new content, instead of obsessively tweaking numbers over...and over...and over....aaaaand over.
Character changes:
Luna
- MaxHP increased by 10%.
- Wyvern Strike now deals ~10% more damage.
- Frenzied Barrage now deals ~10% more damage.
Damien
- MaxHP increased by 10%.
- Blessing of Light buff has been decreased from 30%, down to 20% to all stats while active.
- Damien's "Limit Break" - Blessed Winds has been changed to "HOLY SHIELD" which will provide a large damage absorption shield to the party, instead of a passive stat increase.
Trish
- MaxHP increased by 10%.
- Wind Chi, Aqua Chi, and Nature's Wrath damage boost by ~10%.
- Tantra Magic now only consumes 75% of Trish's current TP bar. The TP consumed is then multiplied by 15% and then converted into MP. Overall, this should restore more MP to her target, while consuming less of her TP.
Ryudo
- Protection now boosts Defense of party by 50%, down from 75%.
Minerva
- MaxHP increased by 10%.
- The base damage of Dark Blast, Blood Burst, Vampirism, and Darkness Falls have been reduced by about 15-20% across the board.
- Ultima's damage has been increased by ~10%.
- "Charges/Overcharge" Magic Attack buffs have been cut in half, now maxing out at +130% Magic Attack, down from 175%. All of the damage coefficients that Minerva had with this buff and her spells made her hit WAY too hard, WAY too often. Even with these nerfs, she still hits for more than the other party members when she is fully buffed up, but no longer trivialized encounters with her OP-ness!
Other changes:
- In-Game "Compass" added. This will point the player in the direction of the next major plot-point or quest. This is meant to serve as a reminder of sorts, just in case the player goes away from the game for a few days and forgets where he/she left off.
