I love RPG's. If an RPG was released in Australia, chances are I have played it. (Unfortunately that means I missed out on lots of good titles that were never released in Aus...)
I'm a web designer/developer and have enjoyed making Pirate Rush in RPGMaker VX Ace in my spare time. I like to make others happy and I'm hoping that the games I create will bring happiness and enjoyment to others.

Adon237 actually pointed me toward Mithran's script that solved these problems... so him and Mithran should be getting the thanks and not me :P

I agree - I would also move your battlers up (and maybe edit the battleback) so they are more centered in the battle area rather than a large gap at the top of nothing :)

While the stairs don't appear to fit properly with the rock on the right on top of them and the left rock under them... I like the feel of this screenshot. The ground texture and rock textures are nice and I like the colours.
