I love RPG's. If an RPG was released in Australia, chances are I have played it. (Unfortunately that means I missed out on lots of good titles that were never released in Aus...)
I'm a web designer/developer and have enjoyed making Pirate Rush in RPGMaker VX Ace in my spare time. I like to make others happy and I'm hoping that the games I create will bring happiness and enjoyment to others.

I agree that the controls are a little strange. I'm not sure which keys would be better to use. The "D" key also swivels on the spot and Incarnate told me nobody would remember that haha.
Definitely up for ideas which keys people would find better.
I'm re-uploading the file with some bug fixes you found and missing files of course

Well, I just noticed the demo was missing a face file. FYI those who got the demo already, talking to the monk at the bridge will crash the game.

Obviously by looking at the screenshots you'll see that what we've tried to do is make something unique. Unique is something I feel very strongly about (as I am sure Incarnate does too) and hopefully you guys'll give something new a go and let us know what you think.
Ninja Clause was originally just going to be a quick, fun game but it's taken a lot longer than expected (although we don't work on it a lot due to our other projects, work and life). I feel it's been a good learning process for us both.

Love the background, especially the tree on the far right... but I'm not a fan of the clumping of the other flora, it's just a whole lot of copy/paste next to each other in groups and noticeably duplicated of each other. They also don't seem to be part of the background.

I love the shine in his hear and his beard. Makes me want to style mine like that... And his bow tie :D
Some little things that catch my eye are - his arms look a little thick. It might just be me.
His right shoulder (left on the image... oh here we go again...) looks like it's raised up, I think it should be sloping down like his other shoulder. (Actually... it looks like you fixed it and started colouring it and left the raised bit there?)
Also his right eye (left of the image... heh) seems a bit squashed to me.
