Idea for a new Community Project

Sounds like a fun thing! It would be most successful I think if you just took an existing game system like Pokemon Trainers or Magic or something and just customized it. I wouldn't mind doing some art for it.

It had several other characters and subplots and at some point I intended for everyone to meet and become swept up in a war.

Never has the basis of every RPG been summed up so off-handedly. D:

My foist evar RPG didn't get a name, but I never got farther than making the first bit of the main town and the inside of the obligatory pub. There was a greeter who said, "Welcome to Ki-Lim!" The music was Castle3.mid.

I like dungeons that have a lot of story and presence to them as opposed to being just mazes/obstacles. Zombie towns tend to be the best in this way. It's a bizarre example, but think of the different zones in Silent Hill games. Even though they're full of monsters now, they're places where people used to live, and the layout of rooms is based on how the place was actually used, instead of being just an arbitrary assortment of rooms that serve no purpose other than to be mazey and dungeony. It's easier to get a feeling like that in man-made areas like towns, as opposed to natural areas like caves.

I hate bio-organism dungeons just because they're gross. That includes you, Jabu-jabu.
