Minimap - Looking for Feedback
I believe that more collectables = love in these games. So yes it should be an item. Perhaps you find a "compass" item that unlocks the mapping ability, but then another item/power will fill out all the unsearched areas?

the current download definitely doesn't work. In the opening scenes it fades out and doesn't fade in again and nothing happens

Well I finished this ... Obviously it is under-realized in this version. :X So it's probably pointless to mention that you would need a more intensive GUI for using alchemy if you plan on working on this more, since as it is we can't even view the recipes for the different items! I would also add that as awesome as Town3.ogg is, it gets kind of annoying considering it plays for practically the entire game. ;)
RPG Maker VX Ace Lite Cook Off!
author=calunio/me thinks that just means you can't use another generation of RM like XP or 2K*.
To be honest, I think it's kinda weird that people were using VX Ace full trying to obey to Lite's restrictions. It's very very easy to miss something.
Also, I read the rules saying "The only requirement beyond using RPG Maker VX Ace Lite is that the game must be complete.", so in my understanding it states you must use VX Ace Lite.
