Organizing the Tower
Definitely have to agree with this. I'm nearing completion of my fourth RM game and even about 80% of the way through the game, I still have five pages of game guidelines in Word that I use to keep some level of consistency.

I have been tossing around that idea for a good long while, and possibly even re-doing the game in RMVX. Definitely never too late for that one!

There's probably a crapton I would do with maps in this day and age that I didn't do for Triax; you give great input but I will most assuredly be leaving the game as-is, mainly to preserve the kind of low-mid-level mapping I began my RM2K times with. ^_^
Triax: The Rising
Yeah, this game's been around on various RPG Maker sites since 2002, but I think because I'm generally not real into the community, it's been sort of a "hidden" title. Most people who I ran into that played it though seemed to like it decently enough, aside from the obscene difficulty at times up front (which has been alleviated in this version).

I may very well have to look into some VX chipset editing sometime.. the RTP is pretty nice but it's only so much to work with.

The Staff of Cyrenia
I wish I'd made a guide for this game while I was creating it lol. I remember that water shrine place being kind of a pain in the rear. I'll go through it in a little while though and try and post up the "path" through it.
The Staff of Cyrenia
I think the problem I had on that is I only programmed one way for that one to work. I've realized after looking through it that there's a shortcut through the way I mentioned. Anywho.. the correct way to push the black ball is right-down-right-up-right-down-left-up-left-down-left-up. Not sure exactly why I programmed it like that, but it was over a year ago so.. haha.
Just realized an alternate, simpler path that will work also.. right-down-right-up-left-down-left-up.
It's because I programmed it to work not through the black ball itself (which would have been the SMART way), but through the tile left of the broken pillar.
