Boss Survival GO

I had a few regular enemies way back in The Legend of Kuleh (~2003-2004ish) that could drop your character a level if they used the right attack. I don't recall any in recent games that I've made but I wouldn't count out that possibility either.

Reveal your secrets: where did you get your ideas?

As far as actual game events, I come up with those on my own.

I draw a TON of inspiration from the Phantasy Star series though. The real PS series (PS1 through PS4).

Musically, I sometimes pick out some random stuff, but my musical pickings tend to fall more from Lagoon (SNES), the Phantasy Star series, occasional Secret of Mana choosings, stuff like that.

The Damulan Legacy

I went in and troubleshooted myself. I feel like such a retard. Once AGAIN I didn't program the fix properly. The fix only worked apparently if you had two of the same key halves, because in the check for both different ones, I managed to have it check for the same one.

The new fix is going to be uploaded very shortly, and hopefully will be up ASAP. This one should definitely work 100%. Sorry for all the inconveniences! This is the bad thing about being the only playtester and testing things as you expect them to go.. ^_^

The Damulan Legacy

Gah, how much of a dope could I be.. of course you don't have the data folder because I encrypted the archives.. so now I will upload the encrypted game archive, and then people can download THAT to replace the current "Game" RGSS encrypted file there.

*major head-desk*

The data fix has been accepted in the submissions now. Let me know how (and if) it works!

Complete Chaos

Going to download this now!

Wow, great map design here!

The Damulan Legacy

It appears that the map fix was just now accepted. Go ahead and grab that, and copy those files into the Data folder, overwriting the old maps.

I take it when you got the key halves, they weren't automatically combined to make the full key? The patch will fix that - all you gotta do if you have both key halves is enter one side or the other, and it should happen automatically.

Oh, and if you were somehow rewarded the same half twice from the chests, it should fix that as well.

The Damulan Legacy

Cool cool, if you guys want to at any point in time you can message me on here and let me know what you liked about the game, perhaps didn't like about the game, what level you were when you did this or that thing, etc.. all for good fun of course. Otherwise.. I'll stay up on the assistance when necessary, haha.

The Rare/Obscure RM Games Request Topic

I still haven't been able to find The Legend of Kuleh anywhere myself.. if I could find that, I would finally re-have all of my completed games, haha.

The Damulan Legacy

I looked back at the game, the only switch you want to flip that you can get to from the first floor is the switch that can be found from the path branching off directly north from the hallway. The other two further into the hall can be flipped to get to treasures, but these also prevent your progress further. If you've flipped just the one switch, you should be able to access the two platforms further down that lead into the rooms you saw. Hit the left room first, flip that switch, then go to the right platform and room, and get that switch. Head left past the platform and you'll be able to progress further through the caves. Hope this helps some!
