well here is the best I could do for the the right shoulder(to fit the facing in the above pic), hope it will be to your standards!
the box size itself had to be enlarged to fit the shoulder in, so keep that in mind
i'll try the other side, but that looks tougher.
EDIT: oh, and for the sprite of Whisper, maybe make his right eye blue to fit the faceset, make it fit more.

If it isn't too much of a trouble(or if you're even interested) maybe you could have the faceset of Whisper appear in different corners of the screen.
example, Whisper appears on the bottom-left side then says "Do not fear me" then he appears on the bottom-right and says "Do not go near me" then maybe appear in the middle and have the last line
just an idea, feel free to not use it :]
