Why are a lot of us dicks?

Not to complain, or sound off track...but I just had a thought...What does this have to do with Game Development and Discussion?
This is what I've been wondering.
Shouldn't this be in like General Discussion, or Site Feedback?

author=UPRCWell, you can't really dis "this looks awesome" because no matter what, a developer will like to hear this, even though it doesn't have specific points telling what is awesome.
People here are actually helpful and don't just post "this loooks like shit" or "this looks awesome" without offering anything else.
Although it is always nice to hear the specifics.
Now if you say something "looks like shit" or "this is horrible", then I think an explanation is in order. Because that isn't helpful at all, at least a "this looks awesome" boosts confidence.
Just for a heads up, I'm not trying to say you are dissing nice one liners.

Besides that messed up water tiling up at the top, and the fact that the sprites don't exactly match with the environment, this looks nice.
Is everything custom? like the trees and water and whatnot.

Sometimes(most of the time) I wish the current RM game or game in general didn't have music.
As I like to listen to metal, classical, whatever I'm in the mood for, when playing games.
Although the latter usually has an option to turn off in game music.
I always thought it would be a cool feature of RM games to have music optional, that way if someone doesn't like the music they can just turn it off. Without having to shut off the speakers.
