I'm going to vote Star Slicers. The stats and weapons match up roughly so it's really down to the fighting chip. Seeing as how Vacon is about waiting for the right time to attack, I think it would give Link's bot the upper hand.

Do defeated characters count? Like how they salvaged their robots and cope with defeat and try to regroup for a future tournament? Or only still running competitors?

Where's my overly-dramatic indie gamer montage? How long do you have to be an "Indie Game Maker" before you get an overly-dramatic montage? Did they cover that in orientation? They probably did. I skipped orientation though. The room was full of hipsters.

I vote Rhymebot. Mostly because it has a bit more energy than it's opponent and a bit higher attack. I also have to give props to my fellow shock kicker. ;)

Yup. I think Malicious Defenders.
I say this because BR-0 has really low defense, even lower than Zoom Gear's attack. I don't think the speed difference (only 20 points) will make too much of a difference. BR-0 will be able to dodge for a while but his energy is going to run out before Zoom Gear's does and then BAM!

Oh, I wouldn't have gotten rid of Navi for anything. I just no that there were times when I'd let at the screen "No! You listen Navi! I already know that so just stop with the back seat driving!" :D
