Houses with not much in vs locked houses.
I think that it is more realistic to have locked houses for the most part. After all, I don't leave my house unlocked when I go to the store. I don't even leave my house unlocked when I'm at home.
I suppose having some houses unlocked which have something hidden in them is alright though.

Got my ears pierced!
I've been hearing about how I need to pierce my ears for almost 20 years now (mostly from my grandmother, go figure). I wanted to go ahead and do it so that my friends and family would pick something else to pick at me about. That and it's something pretty to make me feel feminine and whatnot.
But yeah, it's really weird for me to not have had them done when I was little. I'm like the only one of my friends who didn't get it done when I was like 1! Ha!
@BurningTyger: The lady who pierced them warned me about keeping them clean but I appreciate the extra warning. The last thing I want happening is them getting infected, turning black and falling off or something.

I want it to be a surprise for my family but I have to share it with someone. I got my ears pierced today and I didn't pass out having it done! YAY!
