I think it would do us well to specify that mini-bosses be specific to fortress levels. I guess there can be exceptions if a boss is utilized well, but the general rule of thumb ought to be that they stay in castles. I don't recall any RMN3 levels that had a boss out in the open and fitting well with the level.
I also think No. 6 under General Advice ought to be reworded.
6. Engaging & Memorable
Remember that levels need to have some kind of purpose to their design: Don't just make a bunch hills and pipes that look nice. They need to be there for a reason. Your primary goal should be to immerse the player through fun ways to play your level.

Moved/teleported events stay within a save on that map. Once you transition between maps, everything reverts.

I thought I was being clever by reusing events I already had. But backtracking? Oops, I forgot that was a thing people need to do.
