Are you working on this project yet? I really want to see it completed! Also, I hope you can remember me ;w;

Sorry for the late answer!
This year has been pretty chaotic and I haven't been able to do much progress. There's no need to worry though, this game IS going to be finished, it'll just take a while.
Hopefully I'll be showing more stuff this or next month.
Thanks for the support, Mandred! of course i remember you~

amazing !! I could see this going huge if done right. And the demo seemed pretty good. I've read some of the future development about the game and I love it. It would be great to have info. from sidequests and skip scenes. When is the full game supposed to be available to download?
Thanks!
Sidequests are still a concept I'm trying to develop correctly. Right now, they would give tips, collectibles, some extra scenes or info. about the town and its history. Since NPCs are pretty dynamic, they will be available only at certain points in the game.
The "Skip Scene" function will be a button that only appears if the current scene was already seen. For scenes with choices, it will fast-forward up until the point where you have to choose something. It will also take in count if the scene has different variations/versions, to avoid skipping unseen content.
Best case scenario, the full game will be available in early 2021 ^^.

I enjoyed playing this game. It is so short though. Wanted more of it. I was surprised that I'd play with Alan at first but I like him the most anyway. I didn't see that end coming. anyway, I really loved it.
Thankss! Glad you liked the game.
"Around Me" was first created for a short game contest, that's why it is so short (back then I didn't want to change or add too much new stuff for the official release).
Most of my future projects will have more gameplay and length compared to this one~.

Around me, crimson-stained leaves Review
Thank you so much for reviewing "Around Me", aquatorrent!
It's nice to see that you felt scared with the town at first. This time I tried to avoid any kind of heavy jumpscares as one of my older projects used them and people didn't really like them. That's also why I avoided using loud screams.
For the introduction, I tried to create the effect of telling a story through silhouettes, though I agree that it may be confusing as the player is meeting a lot of characters at the same time. Thanks for the suggestion!
I'm also glad to see you liked the rest of the story, the twist and how I explained most of the events, since I tend to think that I did an awful job explaining stuff in this game, haha.
Regarding the menu thing, that's weird. It should work by pressing Z/X (Start/Escape depending on your keyboard config.) and the arrow keys. Using the mouse was meant to be the alternative way unless the player preferred it, except for the minigames.
A lot of people said the game needed more music and I kinda agree with that since the game is too silent during some points. Back when I made this game I was a bit afraid that adding music would've made the player feel more comfortable/relaxed.
For the minigames, I didn't realize how annoying was the entire process of dying and loading a savefile again. If I update/fix this game, I'll make sure of adding quality of life improvements to remove/improve stuff like that. I don't want to stress anyone >_>.
Again, thank you for this review, it will help me a lot to improve the quality of my current projects!

Feeding of the Owlets
Gave this a try, as a fan of flappy bird back when it was everywhere, haha. Managed to beat it without losing any owl!
You did a good job with this game ^^, taking in count the 48-hour event.
Overall, the music is well distributed. Just curious, were the graphics made by you?
I'd say the difficulty is fine, though one of the elements from flappy bird was missing: losing the level if the player fell down. There were instances where I could stay on the bottom of the screen without doing anything until food appeared, so, that's something I'd change.
Also, the obstacles are a bit repetitive. More variety would've been nice, something like an enemy owl or bats during the cave-like level.
Anyway, the game was enjoyable. Keep up the good work~

Owlstanding Delivery
Congratulations for finishing this! 48hr is a extremely short span of time, though I'll say you managed to do something cool during that time.
The concept of playing as an owl that delivers presents was interesting, and you did a good job choosing the music, however, I think the game really needed an ending scene or a conclusion to reward the player.
Also, the game has almost no difficulty: for the first level that was okay 'cause the player is getting used to the game and stuff, but after that there's almost no variation, except for the last levels that have more obstacles.
Regarding obstacles, they all move at the same speed or do the same amount of damage to the player: a bit of variety here would be really nice. Even weather could become an obstacle (restricting movement, by example) if you decide to update this game again.
That's all I have to say. Good luck!

Old/Lost RpgMaker Games - SegNin's Rare/Obscure RM Games Request Topic
Let's see...
I remember playing a RMVX game during 2010, called "Easter Bunny Egg Maze" or something similar. It was an average pac-man styled game with about five or six levels, though the levels were pretty fun overall, having stuff like keys, traps, multiple rooms, etc.
The first two levels were a hedgemaze and a town, I think.
The protagonist looked like this, I remember that she was made with the old famitsu sprite generator.
Instead of collecting dots, the player collected eggs (the ones from the default Iconset, though they were white or yellow).
For the monsters/enemies, they were the ones from the RTP (The goblins and the skeleton, I think?), though the last level (an abandoned/haunted tower with two floors) had a recolored version of the RTP Ghost similar to this:
There were videos on youtube about the game, though they may have been deleted. The developers also had a website called "Skydreamers" or "Sky Dreams" where they hosted it, though, again, I couldn't find the page or anything about the game on the internet.
Let me know if you still have this game! Nostalgia is strong, haha.
