EnmxDev & Using Our Games

Well...I just reported it. Thanks for posting this.
Pretty unfair to developers. I just hope they take that account down someday >_>.

Precognition

I enjoyed the demo quite a bit and look forward to seeing where this game goes. I also subscribed (...)

Thanks for your subscription! Hopefully I'll be showing more content in a few weeks, since I'm trying to redo the game to fix a lot of stuff and improve some of the graphics. I'll add the bed/couch thing you mentioned in my to-do list, too.

I know it may be confusing to find certain locations in the town, so the full game will have a minimap included, maybe a fast-travel function to improve the players experience.

This demo was released some time ago and back then I didn't do a proper grammar revision for the english version, so yeah, a considerable part of the translation lacks quality. I'd really appreciate if you notified me about those grammatical errors by private message!

How long would you say this game takes to play through?

Looks good, and I'm always interested in story-driven games with choices :-) Going to give it a try.

*Nevermind. Readme file says 1-2 hours* :-)

Thanks! I hope you enjoy it ^^

Nøkk

I don't even know where to start. I was excited for your game's page, but then I saw the screenshots and noticed some familiar stuff: maps and assets from my projects, used without any kind of permission. Stolen assets. Even stuff that I edited for my own use.

Like, I get that inspiration is a thing, but this is straight-up plagiarism, and it is really insulting since I don't expect people to download my games to take, not only minor resources, but entire maps. Especially considering that some of the material I use are paid resources, resources that costed me money.
And not to forget the fact that decrypting any game to use these materials can get you in trouble. After downloading the game and checking the files (you didn't encrypt your game, it seems) it was obvious, and then you just released your game without even bothering to protect those files that are not supposed to be shared.

Refrain from doing that. It's not right. Create your own stuff, don't go copying other people.

If I were you, I'd remove anything taken from "Precognition" and "Around Me" in your game. What's the point of making a game if half the content wasn't created by you?
I don't care about the music you took since everyone can pretty much go to PurplePlanet and download the same BGMs, but everything related to graphics and maps really annoys me. I really hate getting involved in drama, but after seeing this, I really want you to stop using and redistributing my stuff.

About the game, I can't say a lot. It is really laggy for me but that's because my laptop doesn't handle RPGMakerMV 1.6+ very well, which I guess is the version you use. There's some grammar mistakes but nothing too extreme I guess, I'm not really fluent in english so I tend to make the same mistakes.
Some things about the story felt, rushed and plain, regarding (...)

Eirik's murder by example, didn't fit well as a scene, and if I saw a murder like that, I wouldn't just go home and sleep, like, "you murdered him!" "well, bye, do whatever you want with the body, it's not like I care about it anyway". One would expect a struggle at least, a fight between the two characters. Bjorn running away from him maybe.
And after that, I wouldn't just ask him how to get out of the town (has the character never seen the outside world...?), at that point I wouldn't even trust in him at all.

There's a lot of graphical glitches I'd mention, by example, cut trees and leaves inside the shed, but AeroFunk80 already mentioned them. Aside from that, I only saw three or four maps that weren't directly taken from my projects and edited.

What else can I say, well, the game had a great concept but the way you executed that concept ruined the experience for me. Please, consider what I told you, and refrain from stealing and redistributing assets like you did.

Hey there! I just finished playing and I must say I really enjoyed it (...)

Thanks for playing! If I update the game in the future to fix some stuff, I'll find a good bgm for the last dungeon.

About your question:

Yes, there is only one ending, as this game was supposed to be a short project.
Alan was the one who killed Lisa: it is shown when she sees him and Jake in the cave, then he attacks her, second flashback I think.
The other scene where Alan saw Carl killing her was pretty much an hallucination.

The game is running slow in my computer...
Any help ?

Is this the only RPGMakerMV game running slow in your computer?
I know MV runs a bit slow in some computers though i tried to not overload this game with graphics/events.
Closing other apps in your computer may help.

If the problem persists and other MV games run perfectly fine for you, tell me and I'll try to find a way to improve the game's performance.

This looks good! I am downloading it right now!(...)
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I do agree that the game is too silent on certain points, but I felt that adding music would've killed the atmosphere a bit. The footsteps, that's something I'll keep in mind (I didn't add too many sounds to avoid audio lag, MV is a bit annoying in that aspect >_>).
It's really nice to hear that you found the gameplay original! I put a lot of effort in those "panic" moments.

About spoiler stuff~

Who knows! The strange girl may be lying to mess with Alan's mind, or... she may be telling the truth, and Alan turns out to be the evil one.
I left that scene unexplained so players can make their own theories about it.

Grimps: Squeaking of the Dead

I just finished playing Grimps. It was a really good game! Loved the graphics and music.
Played both modes and the four bonuses. I think x7 and x8 were the hardest levels for me.
(Took me a lot of tries to figure what to do in the one with the countdown)
The ones with the enemies throwing bombs were my favorites overall.

As soon as I read this, this song chorus repeated itself in my head, see here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZsXcc_tC-o

If you listen to the chorus you'll get what I mean. Heard it way too many times I guess.

Back to this, I think it's really cool you can change the language. Does that require more work for you, meaning you in-game change the language word yourself, or can it just do that?

Anyway, this looks like it can turn into something engaging so good luck with it.

That song seems to fit a lot with some topics treated in this game ;)

It isn't that much work actually, VNMaker is pretty friendly with language and translations (this software has a section designed for that).
The players just choose their preferred language at the start of the game.

Thanks for your comment ^^!
