There's the aforementioned transform method, you could also, assuming your party can't whittle down that HP fast which I think it likely can't because iirc there's a 999 damage cap on 2k, simply recover its HP manually using battle troops once it hits a certain threshold.

now, if the 999 cap is true, that would take at least 1000 attacks to defeat the 900,000 HP enemy, that sounds like torture lol

I'm pressing 40, I don't have the desire or will to spend time on websites were people are always passive aggressive and sarcastic towards each other.

AI debacle aside, this is one of the things I, pressing 30, have been struggling with through therapy, and the more therapy I do the more I realize people around me engaging in indirect communication (such as sarcasm and passive aggressiveness) as well as attempt to stop myself from such. But I don't think it's an age thing. People are gonna be passive aggressive and sarcastic when they're 90.

Plus, this is a little bit of the nature of game development communities overall. We're mostly introverted, a large portion of us being neurodivergent and investing little time into sociabilities by virtue of our creative pursuit (that's all me btw) so yeah. BTW RMN, thank you for all the dang sweet memories. You guys rock.

also VOCALOID has always been about consensually (and professionally!) sourcing voicebanks, not to mention the entirely synthesized voicebanks like the very first UTAU, or...

Oh, and the UTAU community is made of people who consensually source their own voices for others to create music with (each with their own ToS)

Granted, none of the VOCALOID/UTAU stuff had much to do with AI until the latest VOCALOID update that uses machine learning to make Vocaloid sound more human, but, yeah, it's... It's a thing, and it's not a bad thing by itself, really.

(Above: the VOCALOID6 introduction video. I believe most of the AI work here is in the last fourth of the video where you can see the program transforming the singer's voice to make it sound like one of the VOCALOID voice banks)

Ayough minna, has anyone ever figured out a way to reliably and comfortably have RTP compatibility for all the different versions of the 2000 and 2003 RTPs?

I tried downloading 3 different rm2k games from the year 2000.
I got three very different "RTP not found" warnings.

Kinda crazy. I know there's literal dozens of versions of these RTPs. There just like, HAS to be a way. I tried downloading a few but, while sure it works with a game or another it doesn't seem to raise compatibility by more than 5% while forcing me to visit all sorts of shady sites to download them.
