so many dead... a whole street caught on fire, the firefighters couldn't extinguish it because of the war between the criminals and the police.

people that were on the street during it were killed. Shot on the head. So many gunshots and bombs, right in front of my house. They felt like meteors. The ground was shaking.
I was crying, but my family was not. My brother was making jokes about war and trying to speculate upon the weapons being used, while my mother in her seriousness looked for help on her cellphone as i clung to her and cried in desperation. Her boyfriend was carefreely doing... whatever... but a helpful whatever i guess... and i was there.
there are corpses. lots of them. through the whole city, as they fled.
the fire happened because htey tried to rob an important company, using explosives. Nobody could stop the fire, firefighters aren't bulletproof.

I'm thankful that I'm alive. I'm thankful my house has a 30cm thick concrete wall. I'm sad for those who are gone. I'm scared to leave my house. But I CAN'T STAY ON MY BEDROOM ANYMORE. I was going to travel next week. I'M FUCKING DOING IT ANYWAY. NOTHING. WILL. STOP. ME.

I'm scared though.

That, that was a horrible experience.

edit: fun fact: my mom's boyfriend is playing GTA.

I don't even know how to react to this. That sounds terrifying. At least it seems like you and your family are safe.
I'd normally try to say something helpful and consoling, but I have no idea what to say right now. I'm so sorry you had to experience something like this.

You're magical to me.

;_; I'm glad you're okay, Jo. That sounds more terrifying than anything I can imagine. *Hugs *

Christ Jo, I'm glad you're safe.
Jesus Jo,Im glad that you're fine.
i can't sleep properly now and my mind keeps looping shitty thoughts and the stuff i saw. they were shooting cars -- the whole time i thought they were shooting the front door to try to get in and take us hostage.
It would be a pretty shitty way to die. I've yet so much to do...
yet still part of me wants to sleep and not wake up anymore, but let me keep this part very well shut the fuck up and keep doing my best.

Before they exploded the company, they had blocked the perimeter using trucks. It was quite a crime, unlike anything i've ever seen, at least around here. I guess it won't happen again anytime soon? Or at least I hope.

Thank you for your concerns. I'm ok, trying to relax and rest, though it's hard. I guess it'll take a while until all of this becomes a memory and not a looping present in my hear @w@
I never thought I'd have to hear the sound of grenades... Ground shaking as if showered by meteors. I don't want to do it ever again.

Anyway I'll... Get some mroe water and try to sleep more I guess?
Ugh

Jesus, dude! D8

If it's any help, I've noticed that whenever something like this happens, there's a long period of not much. Usually the authorities ramp up security enough that further shit is discouraged for a while, and any further big actions will have to wait until they've been properly planned out and all, so you're almost certainly safe to travel.

You made it through this. You're gonna be okay now. :)
Damn, son! I'm glad to hear that you and your family didn't get hurt! Peace out, hommes!

God damn.

I'm so glad to see you and your family made it out alive. That is such a scarring experience I wish I could hug you, man. :(
; w; i was finally able to sleep, woke up feeling a lot better, read up on some news
not only they had barred the streets with trucks, they were 40 men (as I had previously learnt from my mother's sources) AND they were armed with warfare weapons, not regular stuff. Those huge ass guns that have to be used with those supports, bullets the size of shoes. One in every corner of the whole neighbourhood.
And while it was extremely dangerous it had nothing to do with my town; they are targeting a specific security company throughout all of the state. The same procedure, explode the front walls and door, rob the money and flee while having the streets blocked by trucks and the perimeter controlled by heavily armed men.
But yeah. It's dangerous, but I'm glad we're not the target.
When it started (and the police didn't answer the phone) i thought we were being exterminated. @w@
BUT YAY WE'RE NOT

anyway i'm just letting u know. I'm quite abit better now. it's 4pm, i'll cook something for lunch, maybe watch something then try to work.

Thanks for all the love, buds. We made it, things will normalize.
Life's ephemeral, huh?
Damn, that's a lot of crazy.

Glad you're hanging in there Jo! Lots of love to you! (and hugs) *huuuugs*
