During alpha/beta there was a lot of backlash because the game used Final Fantasy 6 edits. So they changed it before official release. Acceptance of unoriginal graphics stems from ignorance, not indifference.
FF6 edits is a breach of copyright. There was no such shady behavior in the creation of Skyborn.
Doubtful that players were concerned with copyright when they levied this criticism.

You are an RPGMaker user, and thus, tiles from scratch is worth something. Outside this small community, that is worth very little.

Speed is relative, being able to move in close at high speeds doesn't mean shit when a single screw up with a 40 point decrease in defense would be total analation.
