Yeah, I try not to give attention to the Mizhena thing as there was nothing wrong with that character...the writing could be better which is all there is to be said...though the Trans Community seems different on the subject (I just saw this today):

No real trans person, they claim, would talk so freely and so quickly to a stranger about their history. An even more interesting permutation of this claim has mutated on the Steam forums, prompted by one transgender poster, Jinx, who angrily declaims Amber Scott and says:

“Thank you so much from a trans gamer for painting a target on our backs once again so you can virtue signal how progressive you are. It wouldn't be enough to just, I don't know, put a trans person in a game and have them there as a character. No, it has to be a political statement and you have to just let everyone know it.”

I don't know what is going on with all that, but looks like it is getting out of hand.

The problem for me is how Amber Scott tried to change Jaheira & Safana after reading her negative opinions on the two characters. Jaheira is less of a problem if she was trying to change her to her BG2 self then that makes more sense, but Safana suddenly made a personality switch out of no where, and it just felt off for everyone playing (I think Safana appears in BG2, but I'm not sure on that).

I have other lesser issues like the Goblin knowing something about Racism (That is way out of place for a Goblin to know something about that).

I think what made things worse for Amber is when she made a very poorly worded post one day, and it rubbed people the wrong way. Whether she was joking or not...that was just a bad situation.

This article is pretty misleading...I got a more of a better perspective over at the BG forums.

The only input I can say if this game is going commercial is that everything will have to be customized considering the circumstances with this game. It will take a lot of work...I would say around 3+ years or more depending how competent your team will be with this game if it is a simple 2D JRPG.

I want to add that Zelda Classic also has 2.50.2 engine hosted elsewhere. I don't know what the engine does or what it is capable of. I know the current standard right now is the 2.50 or later engines, but right now 2.50.1 & 2.50.2 don't seem to get a lot of use..(and this probably due to the community moving on in more recent times).

So this is a bit funny, but I should have read the instructions that this one did not have a save transfer. I ended up jumping behind this guy's shop with the LS2 save, and with the LS1 save I landed in this beast man village.
