I haven't considered what to do with old custom works... The spirit of the event is to make something from scratch, but I might allow for legacy works to be showcased here (with its own achievement).
Thoughts?
Hm, it could be a good thing I would say. I know there are a lot of composers and musicians out there that didn't get to fully utilize some of their works. Perhaps, it would be good to add some unique creativity from everyone here, people could really become inspired by that!
Flashlight-Feature
Love it, those little effects are what's gonna make this game really immersive! The punishment for the toggling the flashlight on and off fast I can see coming in handy for making the player feel pressure in a good way!

Hmm, yeah I think it could stand to be cleaned up a little! A lot of my older maps suffered from "more is better!" syndrome, but it can sometimes become a bit too messy. You clearly know how to map well from your other screenshots, so maybe apply some of that technique to this area. It may just be that a lot of the tiles clash in terms of their color palette, lol.
However, I'm sure it looks much better in action. ;)
True, I feel you on the cluttered-ness, that's why I tried to make the dirt path a little more apparent. Yeah this is a very old map actually, but I decided to upload it. I should probably clean up the unnecessary things!

You've really pushed REFMAP tiles to the limit with this project -- it looks great! Almost reminds me of Rise of the Third Power. :)
