I got three questions1 is a multiple ending to the game 2 how close to being finished And 3 do you need any help

Hm, alright I'll try my best to answer them!

1. I was discussing over it and kept saying yes and no lol. But
for the overall conclusion, I'm gonna say...yup!

2. The game is going pretty far as of now, it's more than halfway completed.
I've been working pretty hard and nonstop on this it's been a crazy ride lol.
But, I'm actually really hoping to finish this around December, if that
doesn't seem to happen, it should really be done before March if anything!
I'm not sure how much you can take my word for that though! lol

3. Help is always awesome, there's nothing wrong with it. I could
use some help, mainly with finding some bugs, or perhaps something
that doesn't feel right. Just some really good insight!

I love this! The color palette of the characters blends really well with the background. Just be a little wary of the objects, the tree in the bottom corner caught my eye in particular. Kinda stands out a tad.

But overall a cool scene! ;D
Oh, I see what you're saying, I can see it now through contrast. That is true, funny thing about this scene is that it is a past moment, so I added that "back then tint" lol, I just really liked how it looked without the tint, so I posted a screenie >.< thanks a lot for the advice bro!
Edit: I'm gonna carefully overlook other scenes like these now to be aware of things like that!

Tales of Eternia, huh? I haven't played that game, just saw few screenshots and sprite resources and I must tell it looks pretty.

Actually, this game appears to be a tribute to Tales of series. I only played Tales of Graces f, Tales of Xillia, and a bit of Tales of Phantasia and I get Tales of feelings here, especially with the battle system (yep, I know you're using Tales of battle sprites here). Still, it lacks food system which appears to be one of characteristic of the series.

Yup, you nailed it, the battle system for some reason was really inspired off the Tales series. When I played the super nintendo version of Tales of Phantasia(translated) it really blew me away at how ahead of it's time it was!
Of course there is my own little flavor added into it as well, but there's a lot of tributes to many games and series I still cherish!

Sadly, no food system is here. :[ But there is, mining ore, crafting weapons/armor, tinkering with gadgets, traps, and devices. Mailing system, and a whole lot more! :)

I don't know why but reminds me of Dali from Final Fantasy IX. Very pretty map.
It kinda does actually, that was one of my favorite final fantasy games! :) The background actually belongs to Tales of Eternia, but I love the way the layering work came out on top of it :) Thank you very much!

Looking really nice, I can imagine a variety of scenes that can take place here. Really imaginative and awesome setting man :)

Any chance you could move the characters and monsters to the right? It's hard to see all your awesome animations with a menu box in the way.

That is true, hard to see the damage done as well sometimes. That does seem annoying, yeah I'll just move everything closer to the right side, thanks for the suggestion!

Don’t Throw Away That 2k3 Just Yet

I really like the idea of this article, helps inspire me even more with my game Lakria Legends on rm2k3. I suppose the main reason for me still using this engine is because I am extremely familiar with it and it has that little special place for me lol.

I believe that it really doesn't matter what engine is being used, as long as the developer puts his/her fullest efforts and shows their passion. The game can be a downright enjoyable and nice experience.

Development Progress!

Oh man, every one of those screens is beyond lovely! I love the artwork, so sharp and detailed.
I can understand that little "bond" with rm2k3, lol I feel the same with my project as well.
I hope you see everything through and good luck on this wonderful game :)

So are incantations gonna have special requirements to use and learn?
To use, no, to learn yes. You'll have to complete special quests for each character in order to learn them. Once you learn it, you can use it as often as you like, though they are MP heavy skills, and will leave your character drained for one full turn afterwards.

I put up a new page with all the battle mechanics in the game if you're interested :)

Screw actual fire. This Efreet smashes enemies with his bulging pecs and ripped abs.

Hah yeah, he clearly lifts. Fire barrage, followed by an elbow drop then a tap out lol
