If I am not mistaken, you have to go to the Chinese enterbrain to get the hong kong english rtp. You get linked to that if I remember correctly. It may have changed since then.

If you liked Dragon Warrior I, try Generica.
Downloaded it anyway, although it seems to be more of Final Fantasy 1ish but like I said, name games I will try them. No preference.
So that's 15 games so far in the ol backlog. I suppose I could start with this.

No.
He means try out VX and VX ACE.
VX Ace is probably the better choice, and if you are not attached to any engine, it is even more of a better choice.
VX Ace is also more in-depth in most ways.

Well, you could simply open up a sprite file in whatever and look at the dimensions and such, or google it.

I just told him I had VX how... well anyway that was just a minor confusion.

Do you want notable games, or do you want games without comments and ratings? Because those are two opposite things.
Not exactly, then you would be saying people here only enjoyed games with like 4 to 5 star ratings.
I mean just games, and if you CAN unrated, that you enjoyed enough/though were good so I can play them.
I mentioned Unrated because then there would be a chance for people to play that game(s) and rate them. If that helps solve any confusion there.
