Castle Red 2: Subservience
author=Kyubey
So, any word on how this is coming along?
Unfortunately, due to personal matters, I had to halt development for a bit. I do plan on returning to the game, but I'm unsure when it will be finished.

Also, some tips on endings A-C would be nice, if you could give them. Thanks!
I have added an Ending Guide to the Downloads section

The relationship points also effect how the scene immediately following the Hedge Maze plays out. This scene is also altered based on an extra hidden set of Suspicion Points that rate how suspicious you've been acting.
Basically, your Suspicion Points determine how difficult it is to convince them of your innocence, while your relationships with Peter, Howard, and Agnes determine whether or not they'll be willing to vouch for you (or give you the benefit of a doubt in Peter's case). The game's story will branch depending on whether Peter decides to trust you or throw you off the edge of the Hanging Gardens.

Stuck at the puzzle of birth years and dying years after separation with Peter, Howard and Agnes.
I've given the pairs of years of four people, but confused about the question. "The life of wife before the life of judge"
The Mrs is not born before the Judge, and the name of Judge doesn't seem to be a woman. So cannot subtract any years for the question.
Good story telling in scripts and created atmosphere.
You're going about it wrong.
You input the lifespan of the people in the order of the riddle. So you put the Mrs' lifespan first, then the Judge's

I apologize for the walking speed. I lowered it to make the player feel vulnerable, and then balanced all the enemy speeds around it. I kind of recall that at first I was also unsure about it, but since playtests of this were the only RPG Maker games I played for about two or three months during development, I quickly got used to it. I admit, I kind of forgot about the speed until people brought it up.
Also, I'm gonna be really cheap and lazy and blame the ambiguous room on the whole "the worms warp time and space" thing. :p
@Lindsay: Replay the game and be nicer to the person from the E ending. ;) There is an opportunity to avoid ending E by choosing a certain answer in a conversation in the Machine Tower and making amends... but if that person has a low enough opinion of you, it won't work.

what kind of horror story has a male lead!?
it takes away most of the horror!
Um? The Thing, The Mist, In the Mouth of Madness, most of the Silent Hill series, all of Lovecraft's work, Psycho (spoiler alert), Dracula, Frankenstein, every Hannibal story except for Silence of the Lambs, Event Horizon, the Amnesia games, Outlast, Hellblazer, The Walking Dead...

Game is Complete!

I am not 100% certain. There are two sections of the castle that are still not done, and I'm halfway through one of them. The target completion date is December 20th, but I'll likely be done sooner than that. I think I'll probably have the download up at the end of this month.
Tactics Blade: Episode 2 Review

It would be nice if the creator could at least reply. I know I personally would like to hear some reasons for his design choices.
I would like to start by apologizing for, well, everything. I would have replied sooner, but today is the first time I've logged on in months, and imagine my shock and horror when I saw that someone had reviewed a pair of games I'd made when I was... *checks date the games went online* 16? Oh dear, 16-year-old me was an idiot. To be honest, I'd forgotten that these games were still up here. Not sure why I never deleted them along with the other embarrassments of my teenage years. Perhaps as a warning to myself?
Anyway, I made these games one after another six years ago when I had no idea what I was doing. My memory of what, exactly, I was thinking is hazy, so I'll try my best to explain what the hell was going through my head.
I do know that I decided to split it into a trilogy after because I had no idea how to get around the level cap, and I started making Episode Two as soon as I was done with Episode One, which is why there are zero gameplay changes. I made the games using only default resources that came with SRPG Maker... or at least whatever version of the tool I downloaded from wherever I got it from. I attempted to create a few maps where reality was breaking down and different places were bleeding into one another but, well, the review provides a screenshot of how well that went. XD
Obviously, I never made an Episode 3. I'm trying to remember what I had planned for it. If I recall correctly, Episode 2 ends with Melanie identifying herself as the Goddess of Day, I think? Something like that? I think that the Goddess and Noctus were celestial locked in an everlasting duel, and Ep3 would start with Goddess!Melanie, Leo, and Rose storming Noctus' place and killing him. And the Goddess!Melanie would start taking over the realms with Rose's help and the player would control Leo fighting them or something. So, yeah, the story had that little twist going for it, but I doubt 16-year-old me would have executed it very well, so it's probably a mercy that I never made the third one.
Anyway, I would like to thank Dyhalto for taking me on a trip down memory lane. We all make idiotic mistakes when we start creating, and I'm just glad some of my dumber RPG Maker mistakes are no longer on the internet (yes, these things were not the dumbest. I know, terrifying, isn't it?)
