Hmmmm... The concept is good (I especially like the tree and windowpane shadows) but there're some issues with this one.

-The shadows on the kid's bed vs the shadows through the window next to her. Shadow surrounds the window, so it can be assumed that's where that window ends. Since you see the shadow of branches on the kid, it can be assumed that there's a window there too. But it's either closed and missing the shadow of it, or open which should have the space to the kid's right lit up more, based on how brightly the part below her is lit.

-The bookcase looks like it's pulled out from the wall. That may be intentional though.

-Some objects, like the round table, are blurred far more than objects which are further away from the viewer, like the rear banner or books.

-Something about the angle of everything feels weird. Like, objects aren't positioned consistently in space. I think they're called vanishing points or something.

Disclaimer, I'm no artist. Woooooooooooh boy am I ever not an artist. I took an hour and a half to draw the outline of a head the other day. So this is just stuff that looks "wrong" to me. My explanations of why they look right might be... wrong.

Thanks for the feedback for this art. It's one of my first time doing an interior drawing of a house. Perhaps seeing the process art through the 'media' section of this page could help you with your digital art. I know when I first started off, I just gave up on drawing outlines of faces. xD
Yes, I'll fix some blur effects and the branch shadows on the bed.

Nice. Has a very old DOS point n click 1st person adventure feel.

Aw thanks, I never realised it until you told me. xD This shot right here can also be seen in the first game through the in-game map.

That's some mighty fine art right there. Especially love the sheen on the armor. That poor guy blocking is gonna get his butt kicked.

Ah, the Paladin horseback. xD Yeah, you kick a lot of butts in the game riding those horses. Thank you very much, I worked very hard on these artworks and the armour shine were the focal point of the characters I did.

Lost in Fantasy 2: Exquisite Review

Thank you very much Pianotm for the review!

I highly appreciate taking your time to play my game from beginning to end. I'm also glad you acknowledged the characters that I created for the game. These behavioural traits were important for this episode as I really want to establish who the player should like and shouldn't like, which is gonna take a positive turn for the next episode (episode 2). There is a lot of questions being raised about the story, but that will eventually get answered later on the episodes.

I have been told a couple of times about the battle system being too basic and MV default, the best I could do to still keep a front view battle system fairly interesting was to make custom sprites, custom sound effects and various animations. But I agree, the system could be improved in many ways like a side view battle system.
Also, thank you for noticing spots like those trees where your party members blocks you, forcing you to reset the game. I have been looking into many of these areas so that I could fix it, but as you shown, I will look into more of these areas even further.

I am very grateful for the positive feedback, I never thought anyone would write such review, which is a huge change from my first game (Lost in Fantasy: Reverence) review. xD

I'm liking the realism on the sword and the lighting reflecting on the clothes from the fire.

Nice faces and sprites! I love how you utilised Blender and made the environment of your game look 3D!
