Just curious, but is this engine suppose to compete with XP/VX? Or is this just a boost to the capabilities to rm2k3? I'm guessing the latter. If it is meant to compete with XP/VX then what can this engine do that XP/VX can't? Also I read some where that you think rm2k3/XP/VX all suck, so what engine would you recommend to make 2d rpgs?
Not sure what your talking about. If your responding to what I said in bulk then I still don't know what you mean because c++ and pascal are programming languages, not game engines, though you can create engines using those. Unless you mean to make your own engine.

I think I understand now. You want sim + rpg elements in a game. I have to agree there aren't many of those.

It kinda sounds like your talking about sim games. Where all your decisions affect your game play. Also have you tried those visual novel games they usually give you lots of choices. I can actually name many games that involve game changing decisions, so I don't know what you mean by there aren't any games that you can RP.
Is it impossible to play full screen if...

I just downloaded one of cherry's patches which stretches the game to the resolution I have set, so I can now play in full screen. Also I'm still looking for a way to automatically open the game in window mode. I'd still like to know if its possible to play full screen if my monitor doesn't support anything lower then 800x600, that doesn't need patches to the engine.

Return of the YDS LT
Wow why didn't I think of that, I actually remember a few threads like these a month or so ago. Actually they've been around longer then that, but I just never heard someone refer to it as LT. I only have 2 projects right now, but one is not an rpg. The other is, but its not worthy of a Lets Try. Just curious how come only rpgs?
