author=WolfCoderI'm not sure I understand what you mean. I can always see all my battle animations no matter how many I use, though I usually never use more then 2 or 3 at once. Do you mean when your using the DBS? I know I can't use more then one at a time when I use the DBS. I don't think you mean the DBS though, since the image your showing isn't a battle.
You just play a battle animation, but now you don't have to worry about only one being visible at one time. You do nothing more to enable this.
Edit: Forget what I said, I know what you mean. I forgot that I wasn't just using the show battle animation command.
What are you thinking about right now?
I'm thinking of what is the fastest way I can format all the battle animations I just ripped. I have (10-20 Images per Animation)*(100 Different Animations) to format. :-(

Wow I thought you forgot about this project, I remember it was suppose to be released like a year ago I think. I'm happy to see you working on it again though. For some reason I feel like the image is missing something. It just doesn't have the same feel as your other images. Maybe its nothing, probably.

Just curious can you select which animation you want to show with a variable? Or do we have to still use this to show animations with a variable.
<>Branch if Var0001:Animation is 1
<>Show Battle Animation: Animation_1
<>
:End
<>Branch if Var0001:Animation is 2
<>Show Battle Animation: Animation_2
<>
:End
<>
Would be nice to be able to select a variable's value to show the animation.
<>Branch if Var0001:Animation is 1
<>Show Battle Animation: Animation_1
<>
:End
<>Branch if Var0001:Animation is 2
<>Show Battle Animation: Animation_2
<>
:End
<>
Would be nice to be able to select a variable's value to show the animation.
Where did RPing go, and Why?
author=Chaosbahamut123I know I'm probably going to regret posting this, but I thought rpgs is when you have levels, stats, quests, items, exploration and a usually long story? At least thats the minimum of what every rpg I've ever played had in it.
Looking at most RPG's, regardless of their origin by region (JRPG/WRPG), it's very difficult to see any RPing actually involved. The core to a successful Roleplaying game, back in the days of tabletop, was the ability to make decisions and have them influence the outcome of the entire game. These weren't just equipment choices - these were choices such as which route to take, how you gathered information, whethered you worked cohesively or frequently bickered with your team. All of these added flavour to the story, depth to your characters, and immersion to the whole experience.
I tried to find a few games with RPing in them, and so far, only Persona 4 and Vampires: The Masquerade came out on top. Oblivion and Fallout do try, but... eh, it doesn't quite cut it for my standards. Fable, too, takes a stab at it, but it trivializes a lot of aspects of RP and gives you very limited choice. Outside of that, the only choices I could find in recent RPG's were equipment choices and the occasional dialogue option, that had absolutely no impact on the game itself.
So I ask you this. Where did Roleplaying go, and Why?
Furthermore, seeing as this is the Design/Theory thread, I'll put a question to the RPG designers:
Supposing that time, money, and any other limiting factors were not constraining you or your team, would you try to incorporate elements of Roleplaying into your RPG's?
*Gulp* I hope I don't get attacked.

Best day of my life.
Does it lag?
It shows the fps in the screenshot. I don't think 29 fps is lagging.
XP or Sphere?
Sorry, I was vague in my description. What I meant is which is the better game engine. I'm not talking about just rpgs, but which engine can do more.

I was actually thinking that the sprite was from one of your other games. I didn't realize this was your game until you just posted.
