I know movies are illegal to distribute, but I'm talking about music. I have never seen any labels saying you can't share the music.
Edit: Also I have never been in trouble for file sharing, so I know it's legal, at least where I live.

I don't know why. If you mean file sharing then answer this. If someone bought a new music cd and uploaded all the songs onto their computer then gave it to their friend to do the same and so fourth. Would you consider that illegal. No, because the cd was bought. Same thing goes for file sharing. If you don't mean file sharing then I have no idea what sounds illegal to you.

This game probably isn't for me. I like MMORPGS that make you grind for 200-300 hours to max each stat/level. Else everyone in the game is maxed and it's boring. I mean obviously there will be more then one person maxed eventually, but it will take a while and it will only be a small percent of the player base that has maxed out.

I'm not 100% sure it has been a while. Since I can use it, I'm guessing I got it from someone who already bought it. I probably got it in a torrent or from file sharing. Thus it's not acquired illegally.

Sorry man. RPG Maker VX is a commercial product and always has been (as far as I know). All of Enterbrain's programs are or were commercial products.
