Yes... but usually through other means than just dialogue. In a game you're usually limited to only dialogue.

Yes, I try to do the subtle type of jokes. I just find that more fitting for adventure games. Also, the edgy type of jokes usually require a bit of irony, and irony is hard to communicate when there is no voice acting. That's why the irony can easily be misinerpreted when you're just reading dialogue.

Yes, I had thought of it. Kaustin Yar is supposed to be a Soviet Area 51. Howeverk, my military facility is in Siberia. But maybe the secret was moved there after the cold war.
