Favorite Game Shown at E3 07
There are currently three Kingdom Hearts games in production. I don't think you're going to be kept waiting that long.
If you were to create a manga series...

A ninja high school. With aliens. And robots.
I'm all for that. High school+ninjas+aliens+robots=awesome
Combining all of your ideas so far...
In an attempt to save the world from destruction, the Elders took all the ninjas in the world and sealed them away in a crack in the space time continuum. The ninja high school drifts through time and space, and is often attacked by aliens, robots, and pirates, who were also sealed in the space-time continuum and are the rivals of the ninjas. Assorted killer robots and aliens are sometimes taken into the School to learn how to be ninjas themselves. Each character in the school has a long and needlessly complicated backstory.
The main character is a clinically depressed ninja who has been stuck in high school for a long, long time. This ninja also has a phobia of manga (the character's eyes are too big, he says). The school is cared for by zombies, which were reanimated by the ninja teachers from the three hundred corpses used to seal the ninjas inside their prison.
Wheee!
*Is terrified that I don't know if you're kidding or not.*
Generica - [RMVX..?]
They would probably counter-act the bleak tone we're going for. This is more along the lines of Fallout.
'Rebirth' is not a major theme I see for this game, at least not until very late in the game.

how do you make a side scrolling game? with rpg maker 2000/2003
You might be better off using Multimedia Fusion. Some people have managed plat formers with RPG Maker, but it is obscenely complicated stuff and you're better off just using an engine that does not say 'RPG' in the title.

If you were to create a manga series...
I imagine that it might have something to do with Demondestiny having a Naruto icon.
From what I can gather, One Piece and Naruto have some sort of weird rivalry between fan bases. They seem to bash each other a lot.
I've watched neither show, nor do I participate in either community, so I could be dead wrong.

Intro Sequenses, Help Me!!
I don't mean removing the heroes from the database, I mean removing them from the initial party. Otherwise it would be impossible to ADD them again once the intro is finished.
RPG Maker 2000 help.
Look at the NPC you want to move. It has an ID. You can change the ID label and it will appear as such in the move command on that map. But if you don't want to give the event a label, you can just refer to its number. There should be a text box in the event that you can rename.
RPG Maker 2000 help.
Are you making sure that the move event is assigned to the right NPC?
There is a drop down box that selects which event you want to make move. The default is making the hero move, so it sounds like you aren't selecting the NPC you want to move.
If you want to do a flashback in the middle of a cutscene, you DO have to use a teleport event. Use the set screen tone command to fade out, then teleport and set up the scene and fade in. Do the scene and then fade out, teleport back and use 'teleport Event' to place all the NPCs back where they were before the flashback occured.
