An RM Venture

Going to attempt to do this with custom graphics.

Har.

Sorry, just to clarify, can we use any of the heroes as our main protagonist or just Fess, Alex, Zack, Aluxes, Ralph, Erik?

When The Bell Tolls

@Katie
There is an axe floating in the swamp. It's hard to see as I made the mistake of making the game way too dark, but its floating to the right of the bridge. You can jump there by facing it and pressing space.

I am going to write a walkthrough for this when/if I ever get around to updating it with better gameplay.

The Screenshot Topic Returns

Fair point :p

I'll try to make them bigger. I just don't want them to take up the whole screen at 2x. Thanks for the feedback!

Haven't touched the trees or grass yet but do the windows look better now?

Also, any opinions on the scale of the character? I know that it's a little big compared to the houses but I can't seem to get it to look right if I make it smaller. Could the sprites work at this size or is it too jarring?

What do you think is the most beautiful RPG Maker game?

Nadir's Canon had the best use of rmxp graphics that I've seen. It was absolutely stunning. Unfortunately it's not available any more as far as I know.

I think it's the shading on the leaves of the smaller tree that's throwing off the perspective, I'll see if I can fix it. Thanks!

I'll play around with the windows and the grass too.

Thanks for all the feedback, guys!

Could use some feedback on these tiles I've been working on :)
Still working on adding shadows and blending the road into the grass.

Game Chill 2013

Really wanted to get an earlier start on this but I just spent 51 hours without power.

Ah well, I will attempt something anyway.

A Late Hello

@RAD
Thanks!

@edchuy
Thanks! That's how I'm trying to look at it. I realized I had to start finishing/posting stuff even if it was awful if I ever wanted to improve.
I wouldn't call it a Midas Touch, I just like giving nice old pieces the love they deserve :p
