I've been trying to create some animations for attacks that I'm trying to implement. I've been thinking of how different attacks would look, and I've been trying out different ideas on paper.

I've also been thinking about how I would showcase my characters through dialogue, showcasing aspects about them and drafting ideas for conversations that may be altered or removed entirely.

RPG Maker is something I used for it's simplicity and how easy it was to learn, my scripting language knowledge is nil but I do have experience making C++ programs using a CLI in a Linux VM. RPG Maker provided exactly what I wanted for my first game aside from a couple things that would need to be either programmed in or I had to scrap entirely.

It's good for what I need it for and just using it and playing around with it is fun.

@Mister_Max so.. what would the specifics mean? Like, what food to cross out completely (like soda for example), and what food to add to your day? (like 1 fruit and 1 veggie per day) : ) makes it easier to follow and pat your own shoulder for~

Mainly eating more fruits and veggies, and cutting down on excess sugar as much as possible is a big one for me. I hardly drink soda at all these days so that's not really much of an issue. Soda is more of a a once in a blue moon type of thing, but in my house there's usually a lot of sugary food laying around, candy, ice cream, baked goods, things like that. It's always usually accessible and I more often than not help myself here and there. My goal is not to necessarily cut it out cold turkey, but at least bring it to a minimum in my diet.

Yu-Gi-Oh is still going on? Huh. I kinda fell out of watching the series after GX came out. After that I lost interest in the series. I remember having a whole Ziploc bag full of cards somewhere, can't for the life of me remember where it is though.

Hello, I'm Mister_Max, you can call me Max if you want. I have been using RPG Maker VX Ace for a number of months by now but I'm fairly new to the RMN community. I only recently made this account but I knew about the site for some time now.

I'm in the process of creating my first game that I hope to show off at some point in the future, it is titled but there are still many, many things that I need to create and I wish to display it when it is in what I feel is a presentable state. I have wanted to create a game for the longest time. I work on it whenever possible, but I've been working on the game since a few months before I finished high school, and that was just concept doodles.

I hope I can at least become part of the community here, I consider myself an amateur at pretty much everything, writing, art, so on so forth. Hopefully sometime in the future I'll be able to show off the first official screenshots of my game here.
