Let me know what you think?

That actually sounds pretty interesting. So, does the fade-out at the end mean there's a full version, or are you just ending it there for now?

This one is just a short loop ( I originally intended to be for a short 1 minute game level) so where it fades out it begins again at the beginning. :)

Where do you get original materials for your project? Post about it here!

I'm a composer looking for a summer project. You can check out my stuff here https://soundcloud.com/natasha_gita

If you like it, hit me up to write something similar! :)

Best music programm

FL Studio is really cool and you don't need to know any music theory to use it. Depending on how to like to write music and how much you're willing to spend, Sibelius is pretty fantastic. It is notation based though. :)

Post an insane lie about the person above you

TDS is in possession of a red and a blue pill. Nothing is real.

Sources of motivation

Crazy dreams are fabulous motivators. It might be a bit strange but I find I can be a lot more productive when it's beautiful and sunny outside. Nature can be inspiring and so can good books!

Pokemon Puns

Bahaha, these are fantastic!

Can I use game music in my game

author=AquaXranoX
As for using commercial game music, I'm kinda here and there on that with using it in my projects especially if the company gives you some Cease and Desist Letter or sues you, but hey, that's what VGMusic midis are there for!

And us up-and-coming composers! :D

Hey Guys!

Re: Blobofgoo on "Dancing on Starlight" and Rast on "Despondency," I really liked these tracks, but wondered what software you were using? I noticed that the melody notes weren't as joined as they could be, maybe you were going for that effect? If you haven't already, maybe experiment with using slurs to smooth it out a little? See if you like it anyway. :)

These are two tracks of mine;

Commercial game music: What to unot to use

I definitely understand using music from popular games, especially when your focus is on developing your game. If anyone's currently looking for new game music, the stuff I write is very Final Fantasy like, feel free to check it out: https://soundcloud.com/natasha_gita

Hit me up if you'd like me to write you something similar; I have some time at the moment. :)
