Is that I4?
It is! I couldn't do "IV" without knocking down a few walls and rearranging my entire map, so I decided to stuff "I4" into the room, and see if anyone noticed. :)

I'm going to echo CashmereCat in regard to the HUD, it looks odd being able to see it through the dialogue box. However in regard to them in the first place I've never been a fan of mandatory HUD's anyway. I'm fine with them being included as optional, but for me they break the immersion, so I turn them off if I can, or just don't play the game at all.
The HUD can be turned off. I'm also slightly annoyed by it myself, and might either remove it completely, or use a new one. Maybe one located at the top of the screen.. but that'd interfere with the message box for hunts.. hmm.. maybe we don't need the HUD..

Oh, I recognise that bit of random NPC dialogue :).
And it's accompanied by the sound of a female scream SE. lol

Male attacks? Gender-specific much?
Though given "Jane" and "Ken" I really shouldn't make fun of Male.
Male is the placeholder name for the player's character during testing. The player will be able to name their character. There isn't a default name. So instead of naming him "?", "Male" is the best placeholder. And the same can be done if the player chooses the female hero.
Jane and Ken are only NPCs that follow the player for a brief period, for a particular romantic entanglement quest.

are you going to use more original maps this time lol
Sample maps will sometimes be used as a template. But as you can tell from the screenshots, they are unrecognizable with the new graphics set. So it's an entirely different game. Any time I add the new set upon a sample map, the entire map gets remade bit by bit.

Maybe you could change the blurring of the font? It's grey with grey border right now, and it makes it hard to read.
Also, there's something weird about seeing the HUD through the transparent background of the window. Perhaps you can make the window's opacity 255 or something? I don't think it's all that important that we see what's behind that box anyway. Your call, though.
I might do something about the font and the HUD itself, or the window in the future. I'm not even sure if a HUD is necessary, but I'm considering editing the UI as I go along. Maybe a new HUD might be appropriate.
