Hello there. My name is Nick. But you can call me anything Noble, NN. Doesn't really matter. Well I enjoy playing games and I want to get into a career of game programming and design. Hopefully I can get this dream to come true. I enjoy manga and anime, as well as the usual norm. I like playing soccer and tennis, as well as RPing and Tabletop games. Also card games are cool to.

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?
Persona 4
Around level 63 or 64 and Magustsu Inaba is tougher than expected. However I have Thor and Loki, Thor has Null Physical and Thunder Reign, Loki is one level away from Nifielhiem. Anyone know a quick way to level up. Still on floor 3, the mini-boss is easy on that, but teh enemies after prove to push me crazy.

Head up the hill
"Come on" you say as you pull Random running up the hill. Leaves spiraling all around you. It's alll crazy as you hear noises coming from everywhere. No real threat in sight though. As you head up the hill. You pass by the metal heap making out some words "AM E T P RK" What does it spell is a mystery to you as you head up the hill you see an even bigger sign. Which confirms your suspicions. AMUSEMENT PARK in large letts in broken lights hang on the board above an entrance. The music has picken up and as you enter through the gates you notice the carousel galloping around. But this park had to be closed for years, how is the carousel still going. You look around, your eyes scanning around when you see a large figure head inside a door to the side. The sign to convulse in dust to make out. Random stays by your side obviously seeing the figure to. "What was that?" you ask while Random responds in a shaky voice "I don't know, but let's not do a scooby doo and go in there!".
Go towards the carousel...

Head into the doorway...

Investigate the indentation
You don't have time to investigate a heap of metal, but that indentation is something else though. You run your fingers across it. Wiping the dust residue. You bring your eyes to it, a large star is on it. Seems like one of those crazy pentagrams. Well that is interesting as you take a picture of it. Random has headed off to the top of the hill were the large heap of metal is. As you continue to examine it, you notice that there is a huge one, while obstructed by the wooden man, on the stone altar. Your sense of creepiness goes off. As you look around it some more, you hear a rumbling of gears and jump from surprise when you see lights on the woodman start blinking. You see Random in the distant also giving a look of surprise at the wooden man. What is going on here? Is your thought as you spin around hearing sounds coming from all directions. Mostly a haunting laughter. Random starts to run at you trying to regroup. He's scared out of his wits, and you can't be sure if your scared as well. You see a large dirt path heading up the hill as well as a small path leading under it. Where a bridge structure is. Make your choice, and fast.

Go to the large wooden man...
"I think you should already now my answer" you say as you head towards the large wooden man. Random shakes his head and follows you. He is taping this as you walk over to it. The wooden man is around ten feet tall. Made of old twigs bound together with twine. It's arms are spread out as proclaiming something. It is on a large stone table. Where cement seems to interlude with the bound twines making it rooted to the spot. It's face is made out by odd variations in the twines. It gives a haunting feeling. You notice something odd an indentation in the large stone table. Your eyes dwindle it on a few seconds. "Hey!" you hear Random's voice calls out pulling your attention away. He points to a large heap of metal which is placed near an up-steep hill. Your mind is thinking.

To start this off for today I'll do the first outcome to the choices.
Break the chains and continue through the gate...
As you walk up to the gates checking for it's rustiest part Random looks over at you hesitant. "You sure this is alright?" he says backing away to let you do your thing. "Yeah, I mean all in good journalism." you say as you kick through the rustiest part of the chain breaking it into smaller pieces. The rest of the chain falls down onto the ground. "Come help me" you say as you and Random push the large iron gate open. You can only look as the passage through the forest goes through winding trees. You both hop back into your SUV and continue through the path. As you maneuver through the woods, the sense of fear and dread fill the car. "An amusement park all the way out in the scary woods. No wonder no one liked it." he said looking out the window as you steer the car deeper into the forest of dead trees. You wonder if this palce really is haunted as you continue to stare out. Suddenly your eyes seem to be fooling you, as a small girl stands out in the middle of the road, right in front of you. You step on the breaks skidding the car to the side as dirt and leaves are thrown off in a torrid as the car comes to a complete halt. "What the hell man!?" says Random as he jolts with the car also. "There was a girl out there..." you say turning back to face the road in front of you. There is no girl. "What girl!?" Random says as you both get out of the car. She was standing right there, you were sure of it. You turn your back to check to see if the car is alright. A little heated after the sudden stop but still working. Your glad this doesn't turn into some sort of cheap B-horror movie. "Uh dude?" says Random as you turn around to face him. "What?" you say, he is pointing at something. As you look you see a large wooden tree man standing in the distance. "Who would want to make that?" Random says as you stand next to him staring in awe. "Maybe we should just continue...?" he says obviously weirded out by this his camera recording the large wooden man.

Sorry to break it to ya, Nick... The likelihood of this going anywhere is verrrrrrrrry low.
There is no reason it shouldn't. It's a game, like a CYOA. I know I enjoy countless CYOAs and it got far last time hopefully it gets far this time. And also hello Asa haven't got to see you in a while.

WHAT IS PARANORMAL ADVENTURES?
Paranormal Adventures is an old topic I started a long time ago. Basically it was a CYOA on the forums. Dealing with a paranormal.supernatural theme to it. The topic gained popularity but later was lost as most topics do. Sprunging from Paranormal Adventures came topics such as the Letter and Ye Ole' Medieval Adventure. However they followed a different format, there style was more in a text adventure rather than a CYOA. Since October is rolling around, I thought it would a nice idea to revive this topic.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Simple, I write a few things and offer you choices. The first person who posts gets to choose the choice. However this can be overruled by the majority due to popular vote. Also to allow everyone to have a go. A person may not post two choices in a row. I will check everyday for the choices that have been choosing. I will make a response to that choice and offer you another set of choices. And so on and so on.
PLOT
Like last time Paranormal Adventures had a plot to it. Also two characters who you may remember Nameless and Random. Nameless is a journalist who wishes to make documentary on unsolved mysteries. Random is his best friend and cameraman. You play as Nameless. Due to digging around in the confines of the internet. You see a file on a mysterious disappearance not to far from your home. Deciding this may be interesting to check out you head out. The case is rather strange. Five years ago an old amusement park burned to the ground due to mysterious circumstances. The amusement park was ran by a man named Ken Stol. Stol had always been shaken with the locals from the neighboring town. Things were said to escalated during the year of the fire when the mayor's daughter went missing inside the amusement park. Not much is known after that except that the fire destroyed the amusement park as well as the town. Many people died there, it's rumored to be haunted. With the occasional legend stating "those who go in, don't come back".
TIPS
At any time you may take a picture with your photo camera, as well as tell Random to take footage of something if he's with you. This largely affects the story if your able to catch footage. Always think before making a choice and think of the outcomes. Also everything isn't as it seems.

You are with random in a large silver SUV. You had taken the day off from your university to go explore this place. As you drive onward you finally come to stop at a large iron gate. The gate is tied with chains and a sign which reads "Danger, Keep Out". The chains however wear rust from the years and seem easy to break through. The gate seems to open to a path which leads deep into the woods. The country air is humid and the ground is wet from this morning's rain. There is also another path leading upward, where you can spy a gas station. "So this is the place" Random says to you as he steps out of the car, you soon follow. You need to make a decision.
