I think the graphics are fine. And the fact that they always face the same direction also seems to fit... I don't know why, but it does. I love the dialog the most though; it's so natural!
One minor suggestion though: with the Essence purifier thing, since it seems like you will eventually want to drain it and gather all the essence, maybe make an option to gather the remaining essence? Just a thought...

I do agree to some extent that it is a mess, it's not unbearable. If it wasn't such a pain in the dick to fix, I'd say go for it. But, considering it'll delay the release of the next episode, don't bother. As mentioned above, make it your last priority if anything.

EDIT: Oh... my god... I finally found the dude. It was a really obvious enemy that I avoided for a long time! And the prize is... speed shots... Well, I guess it could be worse. Thanks again for all the help!

Still no luck... I'm not really sure which quest you're talking about though. And which town do you teleport within...? I feel like I've turned over every stone; maybe I just need to be ULTRA thorough. That or it's a person that you can miss permanently... All suggestions are still welcome!
