Legionwood: Tale Of The Two Swords

Ok, this may have been posted earlier, but I'm not patient enough to read through all the posts... There seems to be a bug that makes Alexis rigged.

It seems that when Alexis has a steel sword and a steel crossbow equipped, she does a hell of a lot more damage to the enemies than what is shown. Plus, her attack power (in battle) goes ridiculously high! Before I set up this combo, (I was using an iron sword and the poison dagger I think) she was doing roughly 200 per hit on an average monster. This went up to about 400 per hit after the combo. Plus, even if I miss with one of the hits, and do very little damage with the second (far less health than the enemies have) they still die. This is the only time I've noticed this; it could happen with other weapon combos.

Sorry if this has already been brought up, but I'm fairly certain I have the latest version of the game.

Great game btw!

Shukumei Star

Ok, I have just downloaded the updates and whatnot, but the battle in the cave is still damn near impossible. First of all, Loki's attack is retarded powerful. He can pretty much drop any single party member he wants with one attack! I have the best possible equipment, I'm on lvl 17 with each character (I first tried at 14 which is obviously too low), and I have the highest possible star level. Also, 1/2 Agility ALWAYS overrides 2X Agility, which means that even if I do use a wristwatch, if Loki uses SlowAll, it completely negates it and has the added effect of slowing me down! Even if I use a spell that should give me 2X Agility while slowed, I still retain the lowered Agility, which seems pretty unfair. Plus, the Clock is only marginally helpful. I also had the soldiers cut down Loki's numbers, which, again, is only marginally helpful.

The fact that I can go into the cave and steamroll the stupid soldiers within a couple of minutes and get completely assraped by Loki, no matter how prepared I am, means this fight is completely unbalanced and unfair. I have tried this about 10 times by now and I'm getting a bit tired of doing so... Either his stats need to be SEVERELY lowered, or the some of spells that the soldiers have in there arsenal need to be nerfed or removed...

If I need to grind more, let me know. I'm willing to try one more time if its just because of a low level...

I really think this game is great and the only reason I'm so upset is due to the fact that I REALLY want to progress to see what else the game offers. Again, please let me know if I'm just being a tard, because I am willing to give it one more shot.

Resident Evil: After History

I played the first few minutes of the demo, and thought that there was a TON of potential! This is the making of a great game, but it needs a bit of polish... About 90% of the sound effects have a really annoying feedback like squeak. I don't know if it's actually part of the sound file or something that happens when the game plays the sounds. Also, I got stuck in the tutorial and had to alt+tab to close the game and reopen. Maybe an event is out of order or something?

Anyway, I'm interested to see the final product!

Vote FE for RMRK's Project of the Summer Season

author=Sailerius
Congrats on the nomination, but isn't it kind of unethical to encourage people to register on another site to vote for you? If someone did that with the Misaos, it would be looked down upon.

Either way, best of luck.

It's not like he's asking for us to vote for a Nobel Prize or anything...

Eyes Without a Face

never never never never never.... NEVER again... I'm going to have nightmares for weeks... very well executed, and shit-your-pants scary! It was one of the first RPG Maker games where I was legitimately unnerved. The atmosphere, the (very short) story, the tome... everything was a perfect mix for me to need a change of pants! Well done!

Vacant Sky Vol. 1: Contention

author=chana
You game is quite professional, with extremely original ideas, sophisticated and rather impersonal dialmogues, i had a great time playing it (though xp lags like mad on my computer!), though not at all on the creative side, i mean the very personal expression that goes into creative imagination (not to confuse with "invention") like to take one a millon : Forever's End(!)

I hate to feed the troll in this comment, but the shear bally-ness of that statement made my day. Granted, what little I've played of this game, I enjoyed it. I mostly haven't gotten that far in this one because I'm easily distracted, but I do plan on coming back to finish.

Forever's End

2k3 is simply a really old, really bad program. That's all there is to it - it's ancient and unreliable.

Dude, chill out. Just because not everyone uses the "almighty" VX for every crappy creation that comes to mind, doesn't mean everyone else has to as well. Plus, most of the better games made on here are made with 2K3, with very few problems if any.

I honestly don't know where the lag is coming from with people, but I had this game running on 2 different PC's (one at least 6 years old with XP, the other very new with 7) and never had lag issues. I have had lag with other games on the old PC, but that was mostly due to the condition of the computer. I usually play in full screen, but windowed works just as well. Hopefully Nico can figure out what the issue is, because (at least without the lag) the game is very enjoyable. It's a change of pace from the generic stuff that I usually see on here (I've played TONS of games from this site, and I know for a fact that this is one of the better ones).

Sit tight, you'll be glad you did!

The World Is Made of Paper

...what a complete mind fuck... I've only played through once and plan on going back to make a few different choices. The only thing that kind of set me off is cliched the "ghost town" thing is (kind of ironic, considering that is part of what Dion is running from). Plus it seems to fall out of the sky on his head like a ton of bricks without warning. Maybe that's how it was meant to feel? Either way, I did enjoy the demo (I was going to check it out for 5 minutes and do some laundry... dirty clothes still all over my room).

Can't wait for a fuller version!

Forever's End

Just finished "Episode One"... SO SAD!

Can't wait for the next update!

Forever's End

Umm... wow... I thought everybody loved each other here...? I'm no developer or anything, so I don't have much pull, but bugs aside, I think this game is pretty damn good. Plus, you can never please everyone and trying to do so is pointless and fruitless. The fact that this game is getting as much negative feedback as it is means that is must bring enough positive feedback for it to occur in the first place. If a game was absolute garbage, only a few people would need to find this out before word spread to the point of it no longer being an issue.

Sorry, I normally don't do this kind of stuff, but I was surprised at the post Craze made a little bit ago. It's completely fair and understandable that you don't like it, but most of your arguments seemed completely subjective with very little objectivity. Don't get so angry over something that is meant to be entertainment. If you don't like it, put it down and walk away.

Anyway, like I said before, I'm not a bigshot on here by any means, but I think the game is great so far (finished Lyonell Manor and about to do Lee's bit). And I mean that from almost any aspect (art, gameplay, story, etc.).

Good luck on finishing this up!

P.S.
I is an enigimaneer, so I don't get the finer parts of writing, but I see nothing wrong with it so far (I've seen wordier games that say less).
