Just played the game, it's short

The game is part of the indie game maker contest, so the game should not be longer than an hour... we'll improve it after the contest will end :P

as in the poor excuses some characters make up to force the hero to walk around the place

In origin that quest was a bit more complex and reasoned, but it was cut to remain in the contest bound :( We'll fix in later releases ;)

The sound volume changes should be done gradually for a more smooth transition, right now they're very abrupt.

It would look even better if the text boxes were in the same style as the backgrounds (for some reason I think a comic book text box style would work well).

We thought to leave the message boxes as simple as possible, in order to make the player focus on the background... but, right, we can do something better :P

In the future I'd add some movement to the backgrounds and NPCs to make it more fluid.

At this stage, i can't really find your bug. So here some questions:
Does this happens every time you try? Have you tried again after that?

Thanks for your posts. I did some mistake when i've sent the post, sorry.
The game is free, you don't have to pay nothing. I've readed the rules about the submission and is asked to set the game as "commercial", if it's in the IGMC.
I may have misreaded it, i'm going to check it again.

Now you should see the download. I've just added it. :3
