Been quite stagnant as far as game-making goes. Thinking of taking a page from Lennon and going all-custom on the graphics for The Looming Spire. How does this look as a base for character sprites?
It looks like every other undeveloped crappy snes styled sprite that people make if not worse, so... why does there have to be an opinion on this?

I used this program a few years ago. It's pretty horrible. It's like trying to make a game with an SNES version of rpgmaker.
I have to say... some people are managing to make decent games with it, personally I'm not going to try.

Well, yeah, I think that was the point. Take the originals and only make minor alterations, so they seem a few years older while still being 100% recognizable.
And just for the hell of it: Why is Schala dressing like a whore-bag? Schalas is supposed to be dead and/or part of the dream devourer and/or trapped in space time, or something along those lines.
