Any strange phobias?
I was just thinking the other day, what weird things people are afraid of. Not the normal spiders, snakes, stalkers. etc etc
Rather the more abstract and strange things. Like fear of plants or wet towels.
You don't even have to be all that afraid of it.
I'll give you an example for me. When ever I do my washing in a communal area, I'm paranoid about some strange person stealing my clothes. Now I'm not terrified about it, but for some reason every time (When I don't do my washing home) I do my washing, I thinking about it and often I sit around watching the wash even though I have plenty to do. Strange I know... hence why this thread was thought up.
So if anyone wants to share their own strange fears... go ahead and post.
Please don't post anything too disgusting.
Smile I look forward to hearing about it.
P.S remember to state how afraid of it you are. I mean I am only worried about my strange fear but some people are terrified etc of theirs.

Is evolution ruining our lives?
author=KisarethStudios
When I first started playing games it was on the Atari 5200, and then (for me) came the Sega Master System, the original Nintendo, and so on. Having played games since a wee little one, I can honestly say I just never got into the card games at all. I saw them becoming popular, but they just never did anything for me. As for as the "evolution" of games ruining things for people I think for quite a few old-school gamers it might. Not that it does, or will, but it may. In my opinion, the day I played FF III (FF VI) on my SNES was the day that defined my gaming experience. I must have lived and breathed that game for days on end, even managed the SPOILER*** "General Leo bug" in Thamasa accidentally (going through the Guardians like they weren't there). Then along came FF VII, and while I loved the 3D graphics and FMV sequences, it wasn't a FF VI. FF VIII was meh to me (hated the Draw system with the passion of a thousand blazing suns), and FF IX was just awesome...but still not a FF VI. After IX, things started to slowly go downhill for me. These days I look at games like FF XIII, and I wait until they're out for rent before I even bother trying them out (FF XIII was a major letdown).
Seriously this pretty much sums up everything I believe about FF.

I love DBZ, although it's abit out-dated now imo compared to other animes.
There has been a lot of amazing anime series and movies alike since DBZ, but I used to love DBZ as a kid, so I will always have to pay my respects. However in the later years I used to watch a lot of Cowboy Bebop and nowadays Full Metal Alchemist has sparked my interest.
dbz seemed to always be the first anime series anyone ever watched that I knew, then people get interested in all different things.
Whoops though I'm getting off-topic.
"Final Fantasy" games - Creative outlet or derivative drivel?
author=Versalia
That's the one. I'm not describing it one way or the other though, due to lack of information. It's what reminded me of the other games, though.
Well... I guess now that you mention it there really is no reason the game should brandish the title "Final Fantasy", but I haven't played it so I will not pass any judgments.
