Hm well my character does 325 damage for a normal strike at level 6 . . . his hit points are around 900, and the enemies hit points are about 600 . . . so yeah it works for the most part but it's screwed IMO.

Most, if not all changes, the player would notice. For example, some areas have been completely re-mapped, such as Sargoth. Other changes would be better balancing, which the player would also hopefully notice. Then the music selection is different as well. You wouldn't notice many new features, but there would be drastic improvements.

Just to brighten your day with knowledge, here are the lovely characters who will take part in this story (When the gamepage is up, there will be blogs with "interviews" with each character, so that you know more than their names)
In order of appearence(in the trailer), NOT IMPORTANCE (with a brief description of what they look like)
Daniel - Chocolate brown hair and red cape.
Aeon - Brown hair and tan vest
Lidya - Brown hair and brown skirt
Aeon (again)
Thrusen - Black cloak, grey beard
Christina - Pink hair, white cloak
The sixth character, Pete, does not appear in this trailer (He is never the first character in the party, he trails along with his brother Aeon)

Awesome, unfortunate for me when I started "The Beginning" I decided to use these custom like battlers that limited me to using the default RTP characters, I can't wait to make a new game with all original characters like yours has!

Well, good for you :) I am happy to think about playing the "completed" The Beginning as respite for working CONSTANTLY on MoSTG these past few months! Besides, who cares about Grammer :)


lol I know excactly what you are saying, I focus on my project so much that I HAVE to play something else or I will go crazy. Recently I played a game called "Forever's End" which was really good you should check it out it's a pretty good game here on RPGMaker.net

However, some of the custom tree tiles look weird when there are those sprites near them...
Other than that, I can't wait to play. Looks WAY better than any of your other games in my opinion.

Development Rant Continued!

Yes scripting can be tedious but once you get the hang of it I fly through it like nothing else. Just takes alot of time at first, alot of numbers and symbols. Copying and pasting was always my best friend.
