Liberators of Gobagov
Rex is supposed to be really strong. Way stronger than the main character, but I think as you progress the differences between them should lessen. Are you not stuck in the sewers though? Having the issues with getting out of there? I'm guessing you must have got through to now have Rex in your party. Is Cliff in the party?
I'm thinking the wooden piece should be used as a bridge, but let me check it tonight when I get home to jog my memory. Another thing I'm worried about is maybe there is a place that you have passed through that you shouldn't be able to pass through. I asked that because I found something like that in a later part of the game when I did my latest run through. A gate that was supposed to block your path, you could actually go through by walking through the edges of the gate rather than the middle.
By the way, the length of the game... I never actually timed myself because whenever I tested it I stopped regularly along the way to fix bugs and make enhancements. I'd be interested in knowing how long it takes people here to play it, if they stick to the end.

I shall look into that tonight. Sorry that there seems to be a problem there.
I was giving this some thought and was thinking that one of the switches needs to be switched on then later, off again to open a path. Or that maybe one of the monsters has a key. But I'm going by my bad memory there. But having characters talking that shouldn't? That worries me.
Will definitely look into this tonight.

Can you make a basic guide or something? Again I'm Stuck and it seems like you need certain skills for main quest completion, but I don't really understand how the skill points work. It seems to work fine in an area for awhile until you reach a certain level. Its really stalling me, I can get past the bridge in the sewers because of it so I cant get cliff in the party. I'm not sure if i'm supposed to move past snobsville and come back later.
Sorry about the delay in getting back to you. There is a guide up above, which will give you info on the skills, but you shouldn't need them to advance in the game. I'm wondering what your problem may be in the sewers and am guessing maybe you haven't flicked a switch in the right direction. You do not need to go beyond Snobsville to get Cliff. I just hope you haven't come across some bug that is screwing things up.

Chess puzzles? Really? That's what I need after a day at work.
At least explain how it works: do I move pieces as I would against an opponent (step by step, following the rules) or just put my pieces wherever to form a checkmate situation?
Yeah just find the one of the pieces that will move to check mate the opposing player and that's it. Push it to where it needs to go.
