I feel like I ought to object to this thread, probably because it's just an excuse to brag, but I'm too tired and bored to care right now.
Well said person from 2007 who may or may not still be on the site.
Anyway let the pointless bragging continue! lol

I finally got back to playing Shin Megami Tensei 4. I stopped playing the 3DS for months because a doctor said that computer screens would add to my headaches but things are kinda getting better for me. Anyway I'm infiltrating the Ring of Gaea, not sure if I'm near the end or still in the middle of the game its hard to tell.
When I first started the game was brutal I eventually got tired of grinding and just switched to easy mode because I don't like grinding but I wonder if I should switch back to normal mode because the game is a cake walk now. Especially since my main dude has spells that destroy all enemies in one turn. As for story well its been months since i played but i recall it being interesting enough though the characters that aid you could probably be fleshed out more

jRPG Essentials
I'm sure there's little point in listing games since most of the ones I would pick were already mentioned by others.
Instead I'd like to say that even though I don't care to beat the original Dragon Quest I feel more enriched from playing at least some of it.
I wonder how interesting and loaded with secrets a new RPG could be if given DQ1's seemingly archaic menu of interactions for example having a dedicated Door command could perhaps let developers hide secret entrances in a way that might not work as well with our modern general action command.
My point is old ideas can become new again just look at how Zelda Breath of the Wild draws upon on Zelda 1 for inspiration.

Play Testers needed please help
Thanks Liberty, I'll try that. Oh I should note I sent you that private message before I saw this.
Hi NeverSilent, I'm not sure how long the avrage person will take but I want to say about 2 hours but that can vary a lot. Much of the game is optional. I did a speed run that took me 15 minute to beat it. Also the end of the demo can vary slightly depending on players previous actions.

Play Testers needed please help
Due to a heavy workload and tight deadline my current tester hasn't been able to fully play my new Demo; so I need another tester. I would very much like to release Nsala Sunset during this month because it's Black History Month and this is an African themed game. So please if you can spare a little time to play test my new game I'd appreciate it.
Do not play the currently publicly available version I will make you an official tester and give you a link to the new test version through a private message.
Things I need to know is:
Is the game too hard
Is the game confusing and not clear enough in instructions
Is the dialog interesting
Here is what the game looks like but again dont download that old version.
P.S. The Demo will likely take you anywhere between 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on how much side content you complete. Also the dialog at the end of the demo varies slightly depending on whether you have certain conversations in the game.
