It may help to remember the attachment or whatever feeling you got after you finished your favourite game's ending; and then imagine your own game's ending, and think of how you want to be able to get there to deliver that same effect.

Having trouble with "Submit Game"

Ah, I did it from the main site and it worked; thanks!

Having trouble with "Submit Game"

Ah, I didn't get any of that follow up message, so I think it didn't register. It didn't take very long at all to enter, it was pretty much a copy+paste, so time-out shouldn't be the cause. Perhaps it'll work a bit later; I've been able to submit before.

Having trouble with "Submit Game"

When I click "Continue" after filling out the submission form, the box closes and nothing happens - I am unsure of whether it is intended or not, and that whether the info is supposed to go through a mod screening process and hence not immediately displayed, or that it simply didn't submit. Is it something on my part?

Thanks for your time in advance.

I think those are simply underwater elevations rather than reflections. But aye, looking great! The contrast feels a bit busy looking at the big overall picture, but in game it shouldn't be a problem. I was surprised to see that "Inn" sign on there; a cave town eh?

Omg, I'm crazy D:

Wow, talking about improving. You're getting pretty amazing; great stuff.

[Demo] Everything Turns Gray - First Real Demo! & [Short Game] Vermicide

"Kade rhymes with spade"
:~

Blue: Just a little shadow tile missing.
Red: Nice.

Haven't gotten too far yet, but I'm having a good time so far. Love the little touches like being able to choose whether to fight or pick the door. I think a bit more sound usage in the intro might've been beneficial.

For some reason the BGS in the gas-leaking building plays as bugged-out noise on my computer, hm.

Quintessence - The Blighted Venom

Sure, I'll do that very soon. I guess a combination of laziness and being a little scared kept me from doing so in the past. :p Thanks for your time either way.

Can Fangames Be Good?

Aye, fan games are obviously physically capable of being good, and I've seen some rather amazing ones around, e.g. Chrono Crisis.

I think the problem with them is that they're usually motivated by the honeymoon period of addiction to a certain show/game/story - and you just want to see it continue/be a part of it. But when that honeymoon stage wears off, most are suddenly thinking "wait a minute, with all this effort, I could be working on something that actually belongs to me - and it is then either abandoned or half-assed.

At least, that was what I took from my own experience with it. :x

@Kentona:
Very nice and old school. The last one's my favourite, for some reason that lava pit just makes me want to jump in. The tile where the cliff touches the lava seem to have a wrong perspective though, I think it should be diagonal.

@Fallen:
Yeah, I like that better too. Nice atmospheric setting.
