What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?

Final Fantasy X. Now I'm using everyone in every battle, maybe Wakka won't end up sucking! (Wakka is like the best but the first time I played he was dealing, like, no damage compared to everyone else)
The first time I played through FF10 I messed up Wakka because I wanted another black magic user, so I redirected him to Lulu's section halfway through his own. Of course being an RPG noob at the time I didn't understand stats and that he would not deal the same kind of damage as Lulu, so in the end he ended up having lame strength and lame magic :(
As for myself I'm playing The Saboteur now. Just beat it last night and I'm shooting for the platinum now, at least until I get bored with it anyway.
Breath of Fire VI Fan Sequel is looking for volunteers!
Never played a BoF game in my life, but there is one way I can help you.

Games that use RTP graphics?
BulletXt really is a godsend for VX mappers. SwapXT is a little bothersome to use but allows for unlimited reserve tilesets. And his autoshadow disabler script is pretty awesome too.
What's up with the damn profanity?
Asking for donations
I don't know... I guess it depends where the money's going to. If the donations go into the making of the game, like paying pixel artists to draw up sprites for the game then that's okay. If it's just money they're going to pocket when their game uses and depends on other peoples' resources then that seems unethical to me. Unless they contact everyone whose stuff is used in the game and offer to share some portion of the donations.
Whatchu Workin' On? Tell us!
Just a little game about treasure hunters using VX. Even though I've had RM for quite a while I've never actually made a full game with it, so I just wanted to make something quick and fun to sort of get my name out I guess, but mostly just for fun. It doesn't really have anything special and it uses mostly RTP stuff (though all custom music and sprites), but I'm having fun with it.
How Not to React to Criticism 101

It's not unlike what has happened on numerous occasions on this very site though.
True true... I haven't even been here that long but I've seen it a couple of times. I guess some people are just touchy like that :/

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?
I started a new game of Demon's Souls after I quit halfway through back in January-ish.
Adjudicator is kicking my ass... for some reason I owned him the first time around but now I can't even get a hit in before I get licked to death by that evil tongue.

Doing art commissions (drawings, pixel art etc)
Your art is pretty impressive, but maybe not $100 per tileset impressive :P
I agree with Creation as well, smaller jobs for lower prices is probably the best way to go for something like this. Yes professional pixel artists can run $30 or $40 per hour, but professional developers draw a developer's salary which I'm sure many of us can't match.
Another thing to think about is when people as talented as yourself see that you're estimating 100usd for a tileset they might decide to run a service themselves for like half the price which would leave you high and dry.
Just food for thought... I think it's a great idea though, if you can be successful with it.
