RONOVE'S PROFILE
Hi. I don't do very much but I certainly try.

How do you decide to make a story into a game?
I don't think people should make a story and then fit it into the game. If you want to make a game--be it visual novel, RPG, whatever--you need to make the story alongside the gameplay. When that happens, the story evolves with what you want to do in a game and thus feels more interconnected.
I know I have a lot of troubles taking game-ideas I've had and adapt them to a different medium (novel/comic/illustrated fairytale) because I always realize "I made this to be for an RPG, so there are spots where I wanted people to explore/do whatever". Great kudos to anyone who can take a game idea and adapt it to a new medium, but I always have a hard time. And thus I have a hard time trying to take a novel idea and make it into a game without completely redoing large portions of it to make it fit within a "game" and not just have 2 hour cutscenes, 5 minutes of exploration before a 2 hour cutscene.

Star Stealing Prince
I did put clues in the game. They were on the shelves on the third floor in the Western Tower (though it wouldn't make sense to have them in the Eastern Tower or the Castle Library as no one would make the connection, you see?). Maybe I should make them more obvious? The "Middle" came from the Arabic star, Wasat. Which is a star in the constellation Gemini. Wasat is the word for Middle (or at least that's what I've been led to believe). If you wikipedia Lucky Star of the Slaughter, you get a List of Arabic star names. I was hoping people would check to see if "middle" was there, but when I found I couldn't find it THAT easily, I put clues within the bookcases on the third floor.
Thank you for your comment though, Aphotic! :) I appreciate it!

Star Stealing Prince Finale (Full V.1.2)
Star Stealing Prince
Star Stealing Prince
Go through the tower; pull the levers to open the doors, etc., get to the top of the tower and you'll get Astra and Hiante. If the enemies are too tough (level 3 should be fine for them), then do your best to dodge them.

@Natsu_Luffy: Yes, that's a screenshot from my game! I really liked drawing that scene (and the bad ending, I have to admit; Snowe is just fun to draw with blood. I DON'T KNOW WHY). And if the enemies are tough, dodge them as much as you can. Get Astra and Hiante on the party and then go back and kick some butt. Not much else to say.
Those interested: the Windy Wisp now has a non-action attack where it "floats around the party curiously". Hopefully when the next version is up, that'll give you guys enough time to either escape or kick butt (in addition, it spams wind more as it's dying so...).
@Gourd_Clae: Emmy came up with a good theory on why Lorel and The Old are harder than the other bosses! They are your first two bosses! You guys haven't gotten used to the system yet and thus they appear harder than the rest. Though clearly, getting your butt handed to you by Lorel 15 times made you learn quick for the Old. :P

@DragoonHP: it doesn't matter; the new version has the 1.2 and I made sure to fix that. Not really enough to warrant a new upload anyway if I had still been on .1 because it's just a number change. In addition, if you try to get the Razor Edge, it's only available on one side of the rubble. Make sure to check both sides.
@Doj: Thank you! :)

Moar artsy stuff.
Ooh I love the background image used in the second cut scene. I really also like the term "man candy" it makes me giggle uncontrollably. As for Siglud's potential big head, I think as long as there isn't a huge difference in his head size compared to Laine's, it'll be okay. But if his is noticeably bigger when compared to Laine's portrait, you may have to do some editing.
